We condemn the withdrawal of Wendy Doniger’s book The-Hindus-An-Alternative-History
- From the reviews it appears to be a refreshing perspective on Hinduism and Indian society and ideas.

The fanatics in this country have proved Doniger’s hypothesis that Hindu society has been open to dissenting ideas, but not so much to dissenting social practice and ritual.
Voice your protest against this assault on freedom and ideas.
