Not applying yet, but consider me to be considering contemplating thinking about applying.
- why you'd like to be a mod:I would like to be a mod because I enjoy helping others as well as keeping things well organized. I have seen so many groups that fall into disorganization or where members haven't appreciated their mods and have been disrespectful, and I hate seeing this happen. I love helping and coming up with fun ideas!
- experience:
I have been a mod in over 30 groups without the past year. Some, still active, some unfortunately fell to the empty portion of goodreads. If you want links I can provide them!
- what you can bring to this group
# 1. Organization. I love organizing. I can sort threads, keep claims up to date, and keep character creation threads clear of extra clutter.
# 2. Fresh Ideas! I always have tons of ideas blowing around my head and I would love to use them to help the group move forward
# 3. More members/advertisement. Soo I'm going to invite people anyways, but I would make sure to continue inviting them as well as advertising the group heavily

• why you'd like to be a mod
I would like to be a mod because I love helping others, keeping things organized, and I just love RPing and groups. I want to keep things positive and encourage a lovely RP environment as much as I can. I just really like helping fellow role-players out and keeping things fun and organized.
• experience
I have been a mod in many groups throughout my time RPing (almost 3 years now, even though it feels like I started yesterday), probably around 20 at this point. I have also helped co-create several groups of my own with some of my friends, and been a mod in those. Unfortunately the majority of the groups have died and become inactive, no matter how many 'Please Stay Active!!' private messages we send. Because I took a break from Goodreads this past school year, I haven't been a mod since last summer.
• what you can bring to this group
1) Organization in general. Helping make folders/topics, keeping spam to a minimum, welcoming members, keeping claim topics up to date, approving characters, and more.
2) I can help to dissolve arguments if they ever occur, sort things out calmly and orderly between the members. Keeping things safe and comfortable for members.
3) Sending private messages if activity becomes a problem, inviting new members, etc.
4) Sometimes I have good ideas, sometimes they're trash, but when I do have good ideas I will share them.

Mod
- I would like to be a mod because I feel like this group has a lot of potential to become very popular and I want to be apart of that!! It's really interesting and something I've always enjoyed -- mermaid, pirates and just the open sea. What's not to love? I feel like I could help a lot as well getting people to join or helping with new ideas of things we could do with this group :)
experience
- I've been a mod in several groups. I can't quite name all of them because they were on my other account, but I know I've been a mod before and I think I've been good at it! I like helping people out especially if they are busy and don't have time to do it. That's also something I have to offer but I guess that sort of ties in with time :)
