2017 Reading Challenge discussion

Initially I was planning to read this for the "based on or turned into a TV show" category, but then I got it and realized it's over a thousand pages... By the time I was done with it, I realized that after this, a 600+ page book for Christmas category, and the barely moving along "book your mom likes", which is also over a thousand pages, I don't think I can handle picking out something else just by page count. So this goes here, and I do have a backup plan for the TV show category anyway.

I haven't read the book, have been watching the series. I am thinking of not continuing to watch it so I can read the book first. Don't want to ruin it. The show is great so far!

The book and the show are quite different, so you can view them as rather separate entities. How far into the show are you? I thought season 2 went a bit downhill, season 3 is not bad, but it's like a whole new thing, and barely related to previous seasons.

I am on season 2 right now.
