This group is going to be combinding with Fantasy Network, so the name and new discussions and threads will be posted. Also so will the rulz. If you have and questions comments concerns post them here:

Why did we combine the groups?

Pretty much, fantasy network became a talk group, and writers group became inactive, so i decided that, to better the both of them, what better way then to combine. If you want anything more, i can give you the massive message i sent Krista, lol. I dont think i have ever written a message that big before.

As the founder of the prestigious A Writers Group, I would like to engage in a "Business Venture" with you! My idea is simple and well put. For the betterment of the two communities as a whole, The Goodreads Fiction Network And A Writers Group. I would like to suggest a one week roll over plan, in which the smaller group(us) will be slowly absorbed by the bigger group(You guys)!

This plan is for the better sake of our two socially declining communities. Goodreads Fiction Network, being only a discussion network at this time. And A Writers Group, which has gone on the brink of inactivity.

To make this transition, if you approve it, much easier here are my suggestions.
-All members of the fiction network, will receive an invite to A writers group
-I will save all the threads on the fiction network, and personally transfer them over
-The old group will be left for reference. But all threads will be closed.
-This can go either way that you want us being absorbed into you, or you being absorbed into us. Either way will work.


In this group i propose a 70/30 percentage share bond. The percentages based on amounts of members in each group, so you guys will obviously receive the 70.

So we will own 30 percent of the group, and you the 70. Moderators for each side will be based on this percentage.

By all this percentage stuff, it really means nothing more than the overall moderation, and votes of the group on group-wide decisions.

I like to make things sound all real life-ey xD

Remember this is only between the two groups, no others are included. They are both writing groups.

Of course doing this includes a name change, but it wont be a big name change something like this though, or anything else that kinda combines the two names.

wow! I'm glad I'm still a mod <~= I was afraid when we put them together, I would be lost! Okay, I wasnt really, but Its so cool that we combined the groups!!

I like that they are combined.

I would like to just state, that it is working at the moment. This group has now increased by three people. Though i can not announce the success of the project yet, it looks as it is in the process.

that is..... nt our goal. yes our goal does involve getting lots of members. what our goal is is to get enough members until we have a sustainable amount, an then maybe more.

sustainable to me is maybe 2 to 3 hundred

what started me on this idea, was when i saw that this group had shrunken from 67 people down to 26 people in a matter of days.

lol. I am the top moderator of another writing group, Largest Writing Group on Goodreads, and since we have an advertising section there, I will be sure to add this group to that list. It would help both of our groups to grow.

We got a substitute teacher fired when I was in 6th grade, because we were at a private school and she started cursing at our class.
