port royal is a small town in the Caribbean coastline governed by a mayor and a judge, and under the ownership and rule of the King of England and Great Britain. Port Royal is the hub of trade in the Caribbean; imports from all over the world, brought in by the East India Trading company are vital for its survival. The waters around Port Royal, however, are teeming with pirates, and whilst the town never really changes, nothing is ever still or calm. It's a town buzzing with life.

tortuga is much like port royal- in fact, they're pretty much the same. Tortuga is located about a week's worth of sailing from Port Royal, and is the hub of trade for Pirates. The Pirate town of Tortuga is always full of people, and the bars and pubs never close there. The town, however, is much more dirty and unkempt than Port Royal, but it's a pirate's life, isn't it? In the waters around Tortuga, apart from there being pirates, is a place called hammerhead cove, an area of water blackened with deadly sharks. Beware.

think of the mer-kingdom as an underwater marble and stone city; think of it was Port royal, where it is entirely made out of stone. The sunken city of Atlantis, now re-built and fixed and cleaned, is home to thousands of merfolk. They remain hidden from humans, and are a myth to them. The kingdom stretches out over the entire Caribbean, and merpeople have access to any part of human land within the Caribbean.

london is, as we all know, the capital city of england. Pre-victorian London is messy, and very much like port royal; except more conservative, and far less sunny.

located in South East Asia, this little island proves a good stop for the royal navy's trading ships to stop by for a trade for cultural wealth. Dominated by its locals, the little island of Singapore built its city out of scratch from the money brought in through trade. It's more of a massive harbour than anything else, and there is no judicial system. Oriental pirates also stop by here; and often, they'll go to Port Royal after that.

said to bring one eternal life, the Fountain of Youth is located on an island in the Caribbean. Many have sought it out and failed, but there are many obstacles one must cross to get there. First, the task of finding the island, then the merpeople, one of which you must catch, for the ritual requires this; the shimmering tear of a mermaid, water from the fountain of youth, and the two silver chalices of Ponce de Leon. Also, it requires a victim, for the one who drinks the water containing the tear will gain all the years of life from the other.

note: these are all settings from the films, but if you feel you'd like another location, go the the ask box!
