Hey Andrea and Fran, and everybody else! I am a relatively new writer in a relatively middle-aged body (mores the pity). Well-chuffed to be a moderator in this group! I don't think I have ever moderated anything before! Sounds like fun!
Anyroad ( and I know that's not correct English, but you gotta kickback and chill sometimes) my name is Maria Bradley and I have written 3 young adult novels since I started living the sentence dream and shimmying the chapter shuffle.
I'm honoured to be part of IndieYAbooks.com, and this Goodreads group, and I'm sitting here with my cuppa in hand, waiting patiently for you to arrive and say hallo! See you soon! :-)

Hi,My name is Jay Allan Storey. I'm the author of a Speculative Fiction/YA novel, ELDORADO,
, and a YA/SciFi novel, THE BLACK HEART OF THE STATION, just released in May,
I write in a number of genres, but I have another YA book in the works that I think is going to knock people's socks off (at least I hope so!).
Great to be part of the group.

You're an editor! Been snooping as is my wont! I'll bet one of those words is wrong!
I tend to write as I speak, and that gets me into trouble sometimes. I once applied for a finance position with the outrageous introductory line of 'How's it going luvie?" I was 19 at the time and old enough to know better! Unbelievably I got the job, but I think that was more to do with my youth than my ability.
Anyroad; nice to meet you!

I'm Fran Veal, and TBH, I thought I'd already responded to this thread. I guess that's what happens when you hit the big... oh well, age doesn't matter, right?
My first two novels are YA paranormal, part of the Finding My Escapeseries. I'm thinking about going for something more along the lines of a twisted fairy tale after this series is finished.
