I totally agree with Lizzy. Another thing I's like to advice that make sure you have plenty of time, because ideas just won't stop coming once you open the doors to them. First, you'll prefer the freestyle writing, then you'll edit it after that. Then you'll edit it again tomorrow, and the maybe the day after tomorrow too. Then you might have another idea and go for the next chapter. Lots of plans, lots of things to keep in mind. And for that needs appropriate period of time. IMO even if you write for an hour in a day effectively and continuously that'll be enough :)Also, don't edit your work too much, because your taste will change everyday. If you want to edit it, do it in another page rather than backspacing the original work. Then after a day or two (till you forgot a bit what you really wrote) you can compare those two and choose one.
Other than that, I'd advise that ALWAYS keep a writing source near you. It can be a small writing pad. It can even be your 'memo' or 'text' application of your phone, so that whenever you get an idea anywhere you can note it at the same time on that small writing source. Believe me, best ideas come in strangest of places, and the weirdest of times! :D

Cool thanks :)
