Every citizen of Aster between the ages 11 and 18 must attend Island Academy, the only school on the island.

There are three houses in Island Academy: Sunrise, Midday and Nightfall.

Sunrise students are generally quite cheerful and optimistic. They aren't extremely negative, they're rather kind, courageous people that don't like anything villainous and aren't mean.

Midday students are usually very clever. They're very artistic and creative, and wouldn't be known as extremely 'dumb.' They're very wise, hardworking and smart.

Nightfall students are skilled in magic. If you see someone knowing lots about magic, there's a good chance they're from the Nightfall house. They're a bit more on the negative side.

Island Academy has existed for as long as anyone on Aster can remember. The first 3 ever staff members were Emma Perine, Lenny Unvayl, and Jenne Llyvester. All three staff members were teachers, and were the only 3 people on the whole island who knew the headmaster. But they never mentioned who (s)he was. They died taking the secret to their graves. There have been suspicions that the headmaster/mistress is hiding among us, but no one knows for sure. Nowadays, not even the staff knows who the headmaster/mistress is.

But all in all, Island Academy is the most wonderful school you could ever attend!
