Aerin's Manor, for Sigma.

Aerin was in the process of admiring his ring of power when there was a knock on the door of his mansion. He stood up and answered is with his hand on the silver knife sheathed in his belt you can never be too cautious these days he thought, and opened the door. It was a messenger. He sighed and took his hand off his dagger, he took the letter from the messenger and waved him off without a thank you. The letter was sealed with Hex's insignia; a jester juggling flaming swords. He opened the note with caution. Knowing Hex the note would probably end up somehow burning his house down. It read:

Aerin! It's been a long time since I've seen you but I don't have any other friends with your expertise (in fact I don't really have any friends in the first place. Anyway remember that time those bandits in Rhun. Well I'd like to ask you to return the favor. I need another person like me. No, not insane, you know someone who's not from here. You would be a great help to me and I'll put in a word with the big man. And I'm not sure if it's needed but I pay well. I know for a fact that there are others like me about. It may be a challenge but it must be done. So please I ask. Find someone and it will push ahead my work tenth fold. Use whatever force necessary.


Well Aerin was bored. I guess so he thought to himself. He put on his traveling clothes and packed, he brought a sword, bow, knife, and his ring. And set out the door.

Toby looked up at the door. "It's so big..."

((Well this topic is in the Mirkwood but eh, I guess Aerin's main manor can be near Bree. Can mods move topics?))


"Yeah, cool right?" Aerin said, emerging from the shadows.

((you wanted Bree right?))

Toby whipped towards the new voice. "Who's there? I mean, who are you?"

((Yea))

((Idk.))

(( well he says he just decides not to post so it's his falt if he's left behind))

((Sorry I was not sleeping, it was abrupt to, I didn't have time to say it was time to (not)sleep))

"My name is Aerin" he said politely, extending his hand.

((I totally believe you.))

Toby tilted his head. "Isn't that a girl's name?"

"No it's...no..." He turned to Hex "Is he from Earth too?" Back to Toby "it's 'A' like the letter pause 'Rin'".

"Oh. There was a girl in my class named Areon. I thought you said that. She had black hair like you and ribbons down her back." Toby folded his arms. "And you can ask any questions you have about me to my face, you know. I'm Toby Turner, and technically, I'm from California."

((I still can't believe that that whole Toby Turner thing was a coincidence, and you still proablly don't know what I'm talking about))

"What's California like?" Aerin asked.

((Not a clue. :P He's like a comedian, right? I just used Will Turner's last name because it's sort of normal.))

"Sunny. Only snows in the mountains. Lots of water and trees, but the hugest cities, and all of them pretty dirty in some parts, but beautiful in others. Huge main roads cutting all the way through it, and hills and flowers everywhere."

"Like dirt roads or paved?" He asked sincerely.


((He's a YouTuber named Tobuscus, he does commentary on video games and does funny skits))

((Eh... Too lazy to look him up.))

"Both. Lots of the country paths leading to houses are just dirt roads connecting the the paved." He glanced at Sam, uncomfortable with all the questions.

Lay off on the questions Hex told Aerin telepathically. Then out loud said "is the food ready? I'm starving."

Aerin was confused with Hex, he seemed so different. But eventually said "yes, freshly baked Rhunian salmon with lemon pepper sauce."


((I don't like describing foods...))

((Okay.))

"OHMIGOSH!" He jumped up and down. "Sam, did you hear that?!"

"Hey, Rule #21, can't give away any secrets"

He smiled. "I think I like you," he said, then turned to Aerin, tilting his head. "Did he tell you what to cook?"

((Gtg to school soon.))

"Now how would he do that?" Aerin asked, lifting his spirits.

"Magic!"

"Hex..." He paused oh god oh god he's gunna kill me... "Sam never told me he had magical powers!" He said trying to cover up his mistake.

Aeryonwyn crept close to the house, making sure her spine's horns didn't ruffle the trees as she slithered towards the house. It was time to bring the house down.

Aerin got a throbbing headache from Hex but it only showed a little. "I'm going to go outside for a bit. Get some fresh air. The food is in the dining room, Hex will show you too it. He made his way outside and leaned up against the wall (I don't know how to spell Mu-sahj) his head, barely noticing the dragon in the corner of his eye.

The dragon froze when the man came out. She did a low growl of annoyance, and froze. Hoping it was too dark to see her.

Aerin jumped at the growl but was too focused on his head to investigate.

Hex guided Toby to the dining room. The table was expensive mahogany from the Golden Wood. The walls had wallpaper over them (very uncommon for this time). And a glass chandelier hung from the ceiling illuminating the room. He motioned to Toby to sit down and he sat on the other side. The food was already on the table. He saw the wine on Toby's side and quickly swiped it up and told the butler to get him some..."what beverage would you like young sir?" The butler asked. Hex realized Toby was still in Earth attire and asked another servant to get him clothes.

When he stirred Aeryonwn got a bit worried. She slithered silently to through the treees, getting to the side of the house.

((My phone is running out of battery and my charger is at home is yeah))

(( so the great sigma has a weakness of electrical power?))

"Sam, what did that man mean, calling you Hex?" Toby asked. This place looked a lot like it was from home. "Um..." He'd been about to sample the grape juice when it was taken away. "Chocolate milk?" He ventured.

((Well his weakness is actually eating rooms. They're draining his magnificent power. So he can't charge it by himself))

((The mighty Sigma ought to borrow a charger from a pal and plug his phone in at the back of the room.))

Hex motioned for that. "It's uh, just an old nickname" he said "between buddies".

Aeryonwn opened hearth mouth, she was ready to get rid of this peculiar man.

Aerin's headache suddenly cleared. Hex must have finally decided he had had enough. When it did he found himself face to face with a dragon with it's mouth wide open. "Bad girl, bad girl, no eating me, I'll let this one slide but next time you are going to get punished."

Aeryonwn grunted for a bit, then spat little sparks at his feet. " exscuse me?," she growled at his tome, before saying more things in draconian, if that's a thing.

"You have been a very bad girl, I think you need a time out" he said as he would to a child.

Aeryonwn swung her arm at him, intending to crush him between the wall and her arm.

Aerin moved out of the way of the house with lighting speed. Doing his best to divert this showdown of sorts away from the house, and it's inhabitants.

A boom rung through the house. Making the plates rattle. Hex immediately read Aerin's mind and was disappointed. "It's okay" he announced to the slightly frightened Toby while taking control over the dragon's mind, leading it away from the grounds and releasing it.

Aerin got caught on a scale, and the dragon dragged him into the forest.

((Just leading this away from the house, Hex won't interfere further))
