Anne watched Bree go by as she walked through it, the small, thatched houses looking poorly in the dim daylight. SHe looked around for any signs of the dragon.
Argent sat in plain view, the sunlight glittering off his silver scales and plates with his face aimed at the ground as he finished up his dirt portrait and he nodded in satisfaction. "Well I suppose that is satisfactory" he said wondering if he had the details right.
it wasn't difficult to find him, Anne had to remark, as she climbed up onto the roof of a house, and took a path through the rooftops of Bree, a cloaked sombre figure. "Hmm, I agree. Not bad." She said.
"I don't want to anger you or irritate you," she started off. "An angry dragon is not something to be ignored. Besides, I made a promise. A deal. I never break my promises." She said seriously. "And," she added, "it all adds on to a much larger conflict."
"AH well I don't hold grudges Anne, to little intelligent life to meet for that, as present company is included" he said with a sigh as again she did this just to appease some monster not something that felt anything but anger and greed.
She looked down. "I still have feelings, you know. And though it may not seem it, I can feel empathy. I know what it's like to be alone- I just don't regard it negatively. I've had over two years to get used to it…" She shrugged.
"You never get use to it Anne, don't try fooling one who has tried all the approaches to that" he said knowing she was thinking otherwise as well.
"Hmm… Depends what you've been through and what caused the loneliness. I've gotten used to it- I was bound to be alone since my first minute in this world." She shrugged nonchalantly again.
"Really? you really think your thinking doesn't cause some of the loneliness?" he pointed out seeing the same feeling in her eyes as he saw in the lake.
"My thinking has never been on the lighter side of life and tends to be rather sociopathic, logical, witty unhumorous and cynical. Well, most of the time." She replied, looking over the lake. The waves licked the pebbly beach, the water dark and melancholic, and… empty.
"Then you need to have some good experiences" he said matter of factly making that his goal now for the time she was with him.
"Too-" she waved a hand, flicking her wrist- "optimistic. There's not much in Middle Earth that is optimistic, what with Mordor growing."
"There is always a light in the darkness and you are always alone so how would you know if it was too optimistic?" he asked coming to have his eyes aimed at her.
((Sorry. I had Chinese.))
Anne shrugged. "I suppose… I have known short happiness… but it was long, long, ago, when the dead Marshes still had bright green reeds."
Anne shrugged. "I suppose… I have known short happiness… but it was long, long, ago, when the dead Marshes still had bright green reeds."
((I had to get some sleep so same))"Ah quite a time ago for you but why not try making some.new ones, with me you can get wherever you like in a short time" he sod thinking being like she was all the time was a travesty.
He sighed as he decided something. "There is no debt, you no longer owe me, if you stay it is your will" he said testing if she thought of him as a thing with feelings or like a royal not to anger.
Anne chewed on her lip. She didn't want to stay, but she had made a promise. "I will stay," she said. "That is my final decision."
"Why was there a reserve in your voice? if you really don't want to be around a old, downtrodden dragon, then don't" he said not caring about a promise, he thought it better she do what she actually want even if he feel like he usually did if another decided time with a dragon was a waste.
((OOps.))
"Yes… I have. Though," she admitted, "I'm better at carving pictures on Orc faces after battle with my sword than being artistic."

((I didn't think the first posted))"I bet, but not something they sit still for: he said with a shrug.
"Oh, they're already dead when I do so." She replied flatly. "Anyways…"
((Gtg. :/ I'll be back tho.))

((It's fine trying to do alot of rping and messaging))"Oh funny, so what do you write on them?" he asked a bit interested.
((Haha ok.))
"Curses. Dark things, full of malevolence. Warnings to Sauron." She shrugged. "Nothing of importance, of course."

((So may be slow cause talking to my girl throug messages too))"Oh well try doing something good" he said with a smile and chuckled how she could say that so easily.
((No problem.))
She was surprised he four it amusing, but waved it off. "Hmph. I don't know what to do to do something good."

((SO sorry I am depressingly slow but me and her barely talk so I have to talk as much as I can get))"Really what was that last time then?" he asked with a frown.
((That's fine. I understand.))
"Lying in a field of daisies with my brother," she said, and the word 'brother' came out cracked and dark as a shadow passed upon her face.

((No its 2 am and she came back from cheer practice when we started))"Yes but I can see I shouldn't of asked" he said with a sigh and laid his head on the ground.
((Oh wow.))
"Ah." She sighed. "You wouldn't have known that I would have told you that, so therefore you should not be sorry."
