This is my first year joining the challenge and although I read a lot of Australian female authors for my work, I am passionate about what AWWC is aiming to do and happy to help spread the word.

Book #1 Mateship With Birds by Carrie Tiffany. 4 stars. You can see the review on my website http://www.slyonbooks.com/2014/02/mat...
Books #5 and #6 are The Green Heart of Love by Jacquelyn Webb and An Improper Proposition by Amy Rose Bennett. Book #7 is Holding Out for a Hero by Amy Andrews. A big congratulations to Amy on winning the 2013 Australian Romance Readers Award in the Favourite Contemporary Romance category for this book. A great fun read with plenty of angst, interesting characters and some hot romance.
Book #8 and #9 are in a growing genre in Australia - gay romance. The Silver Tongued City Boy by Tamsin Baker and First Time Brad & Sebastian by E.M. Rose tackle some important issues about coming out and acceptance in society. Well done to these two Aussie authors.
Book #10 is Red Dirt Talking by Jacqueline Wright. Winner of the T.A.G Hungerford and long-listed for the Miles Franklin. https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Book #11 is Lost & Found by Brooke Davis. 5 stars for this wonderful debut. http://www.slyonbooks.com/2014/07/los...
