I've read Kite Runner and thought it was such a wonderful book, the movie really didn't do it justice. Please try A Thousand Splendid Suns by KH too, it is also a great read.

I am reading Over the Edge, a romantic suspense novel.

Have you read Lady w/ Dragon Tattoo? Loving it! I'm reading it for a bookgroup here @ goodreads. Aiming for reading 50 books this year but I've slowed down a bit lately.

Hey Crystal -- what's that about?

It's about a girl that is dead and it's her point of view. It's interesting. It gives you a different idea of 'ghosts'. She can't see other ghosts and no one can see her...until a boy notices her and she gets frightened. It's very cool.

That is right up my alley -- will put it on my TBR list.

My fav jodi picoult book is perfect match. But I've read quite a few.

Just finished The Help -- pretty good. Finishing Psychic Book of Deliverance Dane today -- also pretty good. Moving on to Thirteen Reasons Why and The Man who Loved Books Too Much.

Hi! I just joined - glad to find a local group. Anyway, I'm currently reading The Crystal Cave by Mary Stewart.

Hey Jennifer, great to meet another local Goodreads fan. I'm now reading Confederacy of Dunces for my face-to-face bookclub and LOVING IT. It's hilarious. Then on to one called Patron Saint of Liars by Ann Patchett and I have the second in the Girl w/ Dragon Tattoo series lined up after that -- Girl who played w/ Fire, maybe? I always fall asleep before I get through a bunch of chapters as planned!!!

Enjoying any of the other bookclubs on goodreads? I'm in my second year of the 50 book challenge and do that bookclub. I'm hoping to be @ 100 books/year eventually -- but not while I have young kids scampering around!!!

I tried to keep up with the sci-fi/fantasy book club, but I have 8 week old twins which makes reading difficult!

I'm enjoying this one (read Me & Emma by Flock -- quite a read! This one doesn't have the same twists and turns). I love a good psychodrama (empahasis on the psych part . . )
