I have read till 50% and have a question. What do you people think of Detective Giraud? Is he parody of Sherlock Holmes?

I have finaly located my copy, I did lend it to somebody and she will return it as soon as she comes down soutn, which is next week.
Lauren, I too have watched this on Netflix, and I thought they mentioned a sister but there was none. While reading this I hear Poirot and Hastings voices. I enjoy it.

On the subject of parodies has anyone seen the movie Murder by death with the Marple and Poirot parodies? Watched it last week. I highely recommend it.
