10.9 - Bridge The Gap
The Third Saturday in October is Bridge Day in West Virginia. A bridge is a connection between two elements. Read a book with a word in the title, subtitle or author's name that is hyphenated. The word must appear in the Goodreads record with the hyphen ex. I Am Half-Sick of Shadows (half-sick), 10% Happier: How I Tamed the Voice in My Head, Reduced Stress Without Losing My Edge, and Found Self-Help That Actually Works (self-help) Julia Spencer-Fleming (Spencer-Fleming)

*Only authors that are identified as authors (or a default blank in the author role field), co-authors, or contributors may be used for tasks involving author information. Other roles or functions such as editor, illustrator, artist, translator, introduction, designed by, foreword, preface, assistant or afterword may not be used for author-sourced tasks. Ask about other roles identified in a Goodreads record in the season's General Questions help thread.

These do not work
World's Scariest Places: Volume One - Suicide Forest & The Catacombs - the task requires a hyphenated word- a hyphen must connect two words without spaces

no- that is not a hyphenated word. A hyphen must connect two words without spaces

Nicola | 1360 comments A few suggestions taken from the 1001 list:

Billiards at Half-Past Nine, At Swim-Two-Birds, Nineteen Eighty-Four, The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test, Giles Goat-Boy, The Go-Between, The Vice Consul (probably only if you read the original French as Goodreads has removed the hyphen from English even though it's written that way on the book cover. A Librarian might fix it if requested I guess),
and Jean-Jacques Rousseau for an author.
