Lila Fallow's room
Lila walked into her room and her eyes opened wide. Her room at home was big, but this was huge. She spun around and looked at each part of the room. "This is beautiful." She gracefully sat down on her bed and sighed. "Wow...." She murmured. Lila opened her wardrobe and gasped. There were so many beautiful dresses. She wondered where her maids were and if they were going to be friendly.
Lila smiled. "Nice to meet you, Amy! I'm Lila Fallow." She was happy, Amy seemed really nice. Good, maybe we can become friends! That would be really nice... She thought wistfully.
Lila grinned. "It's beautiful! I love it!" She looked around again. "Seriously, this is fantastic. You have out-done yourself." She paused for a moment. "And please, you can call me Lila. I don't mind the informality if we're just in my bedroom."
Lila smiled, happy that Amy had agreed to her request to call her Lila. "Can you please help me out of my dress?" Lila requested. It was getting late and she wanted to make sure to have as much time to primp in the morning. After all, it was supposed to be a busy day tomorrow.
Lila smiled. Amy seemed really nice, so she was happy. "Thank you so much for your assistance. Please come wake me up at 4:50 tomorrow morning if you can."
Lila smiled. "Good night!" She walked over to her bed and laid down, staring at the ceiling. "I can't wait for tomorrow." She smiled and quickly fell asleep.((Time skip?))
Lila woke up when Amy came into her room. She looked at the clock and saw that it was exactly when she had asked to be woken up. "Good morning!" She cheerily said. She was a morning person so she didn't mind the early wakeup time.
Lila smiled. "Sure, that would be great! Just pick out a couple and then I'll decide." She seems a little sleepy... Oops?
Lila smiled and realized that it was almost time to leave. She quickly got dressed. She picked pretty accessories and headed to the dining hall.
Lila walked back from the library, holding a couple of books in her arms, including the ones that Nicholas had suggested to her. She was anxious to start reading, so she quickly entered her room and placed the books on a table. She then picked up the book that was on top and started to read.
Dante ran his fingers through his hair nervously before composing himself and knocking on Lila's door.
((Haha Lila not Lily :P))Lila was reading when she heard a knock at the door. She cocked her head. I wonder who it could be? She gently placed her book down on the bed and got up to answer the door. She opened the door cautiously and saw that it was Dante. "Oh, good afternoon Dante!" She smiled at him.
((*facepalm* Sorry about that. :P ))Dante smiled politely. "It really is, isn't it?" he replied. He was determined to not mess this up. How hard could it be?
((No worries haha))She smiled at him. "Yes, I believe so!" She laughed. "Please, come in." She gestured into the room. "So, do you have official business for coming here, or were you just in the mood for some more corny jokes?" She giggled again, thinking back to the dinner when they had originally met.
Dante groaned teasingly, "Please don't judge me on my inability to make punny jokes." he laughed. "No, I am here because I wish to be here, and it's sort of official, but I'd rather not look at it that way." he said.
She laughed. "Don't worry, I won't judge you if you don't judge me." She smiled. "And ahh, that makes sense. So let's make this as unofficial as possible while still being courteous, what do you say?" She laughed again.
She smiled. "Hmm, something about myself." She thought for a moment. "Well that's a very vague statement." She furrowed her brows for a moment. "Let's see, what's interesting about me? Hey, that rhymed!" She laughed. "Okay, so I love animals, reading, and reading. Oh wait, did I mention reading?" She laughed and gestured towards the books on the table.
She blushed when he called her beautiful. "Don't worry, I'm not too dangerous." She laughed. "And you're not too shabby yourself. Handsome, kind, and knowing how to use flattery? Those are pretty dangerous when combined as well."
She laughed. "No I'm not! I like telling the truth and avoid lying and bluffing whenever possible." She nodded her head. She was being playful, but also serious as well. She wanted him to know that she could be serious as well as humorous. "Have you read any of those books?" She asked.
"Yes, the one on top is a nice read, but the one next to it didn't exactly suit my taste." he said. The latter was a more girly, teen romance. Not exactly his style. "So tell me something about yourself no one else knows."
She nodded at the first comment and laughed a bit at the second. "Yeah, I'm sure it didn't. I don't normally read those either, but I figured I might as well relax and read something stupid for once." She shrugged sheepishly. She cocked her head. "Hmm, getting straight down to the deep questions, are we?" She thought for a moment. "Well, I used to have a really good friend back home. Ever since we were little, we were always best friends. As we got older, she started drifting away from me a bit. Then all of a sudden, she started being friendly, really friendly towards me. I later found out from one of my other friends that she was trying to use me because she liked my twin brother. When I found that out, I cornered her privately and pretty much threatened her to never come near my family again or else something bad would happen. I never told my brother though..." Her voice trailed off and she bit her lip. "Please don't judge me too harshly." She said softly and looked at the floor. To her, she was just being loyal to her family. But to an outsider's perspective, she knew that it wouldn't sound too good.((Sorry for super long post))
((Not a problem! ))Dante soaked in the story. "Why would I judge you harshly when there should be no cause to judge you at all? To me, it seems that you were simply trying to protect your family. The people that only are out to play other people will get no where in the long run. Integrity goes farther than one would think. I wish that I had loyal friends like you growing up and that I had some of that integrity." he replied.
She looked up as he spoke. She blushed as she looked at him. "Thank you." She sighed. "Unfortunately not everyone else thinks that way, so you're the first person that I have ever told. I just didn't want my brother to get hurt and I didn't want to see my old friend ever again. Do you know the saying, 'fool me once and it's on you, but fool me twice and it's on me?" She shrugged. "I might not have said it exactly, but it pretty much means that if I gave her a second chance and she tricked me, it would be my fault."
((Well, I've gtg. :( Until next Sunday! :) ))Dante nodded his head. That was why he fought. He wasn't ready to meet the edge of a sword again. He learned not to tempt fate. It was why he was afraid to settle down and commit to one person. "I understand." he said.
((Aww okay :( Have a nice week!)She smiled at him. "It's nice to talk to someone who understands." She paused. "So, is there anything else that you would like to know about me? Or is it time for me to ask you some questions?" She said playfully.
Nicholas knew he was taking a huge risk going to Lila's room but he wanted to make sure she got the book before he left. He didn't know if he would remember in a few days and he was leaving that night. There wouldn't he time to accidentally meet up with her or find someone to deliver it. Besides if he got a maid to deliver it that would just spark gossip which would be even worse.
Dante tilted his head in thought. "I'm an open book." he shrugged. "You're far more interesting than I am, but if you have any question, don't hesitate to ask."
She blushed. "I'm not interesting at all." She shook her head. "Why don't we alternate asking and answering questions?" She cocked her head. "If you don't kind, of course." She bit her lip, hoping that he wouldn't think she was being rude.
Nicholas knocked on the door, looking around anxiously. Hopefully no one would happen by but even if they did he wasn't a very well known face so maybe he could pretend to be a guard or some other kind of servant.......
"Sure, I don't -" Dante was interrupted when there was a knock on the door. "Were you expecting someone? I can always leave. I know my arrival was a bit abrupt..." he said.
Lila cocked her head. "No, I wasn't expecting anyone. Strange, maybe it's my maid." She walked over to the door. "And you're fine to stay here. She opened the door and saw Nicholas. Her eyes widened. This isn't good.
Nicholas's brows rose when he saw her reaction. Not the one he had been expecting. Not that he really expected much of anything. Best be quick about this so he could leave, god this girl was confusing. "Look I just wanted to make sure you got this before I left." He said and held out the book. He hadn't relaxed someone else was in her room, let alone that that someone else was his cousin.
"Nick?" Dante knew his cousin's voice anywhere. What was he doing here? He walked over to the door and saw Nick holding a book. "Cousin, I didn't know that you knew how to read!" he teased.
Lila looked between both of the guys, unsure of what to do. The Prince didn't seem to care, but she knew that she could get into major trouble for this. "Ummm, hello Nicholas?" She bit her lip and winced. She had no idea what to do.
Nicholas' stomach turned and he withdrew his outstretched arm, book and all. He smiled and forced a laugh. It was something he had become good at. "Haha. You're a riot Dante." He said. "For your information I can read. I am only here to make sure Miss Farrow got the book she requested." He purposely messed up her name, hoping that it would imply he had only met Lila once or twice and hadn't taken an interest in her.
Dante quirked a brow at their strange behavior. The tension between them was palpable. He took a step back. "Is there something I should know about?" he asked.
Lila looked at Nicholas. "It's Fallow, actually. Not Farrow." She said this softly. "And thank you for bringing the book." She then turned and faced Dante and quickly shook her head. "No, of course not! I just ran into Nicholas at the library earlier and asked if he could find a book for me. That's all." She gave a small smile to Dante. "I really wanted to read this book after all and I was upset that I couldn't find it. So Nicholas was kind enough to search for me and find it." She nodded.
Even with his heart twisting painfully in his chest Nicholas smiled crookedly at his cousin. "I was hiding from your mother if you must know. That's why I was in the library when Miss Farrow and I met." He hoped Lila would forgive him for continually messing up her name. "I was switching some books around to pass the time and mess with the librarian and felt bad when she couldn't find the book she was looking for." Lies. All lies.
Dante pressed his lips together tightly. What was Nick playing at? Dante had been trained to see lies, to be able to lie; it was part of training to be th next King. Why was Nick lying, and why was he at Lila's door to give her a book. He could have easily sent a guard. "I see." he said, giving away nothing.
"Fallow, not Farrow." Lila said softly. She sighed. She then furrowed her eyebrows. "Wait, it was you who switched up all the books?" Her eyes opened wide. "Why would you do that?" She seemed annoyed, really annoyed. "There are so many places to mess around in this castle, at least I presume, but the library is one place that should never be messed with." She looked at Dante. "Right?" She cocked her head.
Nicholas cursed internally but gave nothing away. He was such a fool! He held out the book again, he had a feeling this was either going to end awkwardly or badly. He was hoping for awkwardly.
"Absolutely!" Dante said. "Nothing should be messed with that belongs somewhere else." There was a double meaning to his words. He looked over at Nick and Lila. She wasn't acting all awkward like him.
Lila nodded at Dante and then took the book from Nicholas. "Thank you for finding this though." She smiled at Nicholas. She heard the double meaning in Dante's voice, but pretended not to notice it. "But please don't mess up the library again. The library is so beautiful, I love it already." She smiled and looked at Dante. "You have such an amazing collection of books, I would hate for a book to get lost somewhere."
Nicholas flinched visibly, knowing he had been caught. At the very least he could take all the blame and keep Lila in the selection. He stood silently in the doorway, watching the two of them and realizing he had done something dangerous. He had hoped. He smiled widely, the mischievousness in his eyes gone. "But that's what makes it so fun, it irritates everyone without doing any real harm. Now if you'll excuse me I have to ready myself for tomorrow. Nice to see you again Miss Fallow, for your sake I hope you're still here when I return."

Room for
Lila Fallow (17): To the casual out-looker, Lila seems like a very shy, but sweet girl. In reality, she is very shy, but only to people that she doesn't know. Once Lila becomes friends with someone, she is very outgoing and can also be very sarcastic. She is also extremely loyal to her friends and family and will do almost anything to help them. Even though she is shy, she tends to draw people towards her due to her eloquent speech and manners. She is extremely polite and is good at talking to adults and fellow teenagers. One thing that Lila is definitely not is a push-over. She does not like it when people try to tell her that her beliefs are wrong. She often uses the phrase, "Let's agree to disagree." She doesn't like getting into arguments with people, but if it is necessary, she won't back down from a challenge. She also loves to read and is intelligent. She is also obsessed with animals. One of her flaws is that she is a little self-conscious.
Amy Lezander (17): She is seen to be a really nice and sweet girl with a lovely personality who provides quality service but on the inside, she is a greedy and a mean b***** who is out to get them. All of them for putting her and her family in the lowest caste for something that only her uncle did.
