Twilightstar walked out if camp and into the territory. She sniffed the fresh air and waited for the others to catch up.
((The first one in the first series.))Twilightstar counted the cats and nodded. "Good." She said quietly. Then she started walking towards the Windclan border. She remarked some trees with her scent and motioned the others to do the same.
Twilightstar stopped and sniffed the air high and low. She caught scent of something big. Very big. She backed up a bit and stood in between the two cats. "Stay quiet." She whispered.
Twilightstar's ears perked up as she heard a loud crunch. Then a female deer emerged from behind a tree and nibbled on some grass. Then it pranced away and disappeared. Twilightstar sighed and started inward again, heading for Thunderclan border and making trees on her way.
Twilightstar glanced back at the two and smiled. "If you see any prey please catch it." She said. "We're running low."
((Thrush, mice, birds, rate, anything they can find! I haven't read the books either but I still know a lot from this one group!))Twilightstar snatched up a mouse and killed it with one swipe of a paw. She carried it in her mouth and trotted onwards.
Twilightstar rolled her eyes when she saw Silverwood give Shadowmist something to carry. "Aren't you strong enough to carry your own catchings?" She asked. ((Ill have to check if there's a med cat in this clan and whenever you feel like it. But make sure it's long enough!))
Twilightstar frowned angrily at Silverwood. "That's no way to treat your clan mates." She huffed and turned back around. She stormed forward and touched her tail to a few trees.
Twilightstar saw Silverwood and stopped. "We should head back." She said. "And Silverwood, respect is key for having a great clan so I advise you think about that." She looked at Silverwood with no expression of anger or disappointment. "Lets head back." She said and trotted back to camp.
((Use third person and past tense please! Thanks!))Twilightstar started waking again and sighed. "First we'll go to the river." She said. "I want to see it fore myself."
Twilightstar stopped and turned to him. "Since you are the deputy I'd like to know your opinion on this." She said.
Twilightstar ran into the forest. The canary above her parted in spots, sending light into her fur in sparkling rays. She smiled and waited.
Blackash raced into the forest and saw Twilightstar. She was breath-taking, the light striking her fur perfectly. "Oh.." He said stupidly.
Blackash opened his jaw, and scented the air. The faint trace of mouse hung in the air. Lowering himself, he looked ahead, a mouse nibbling at a seed. Pushing himself ahead, and pounced on the mouse. Swiftly, he bit its neck and picked it up in his jaw.
Twilightstar glanced at Blackash then turned to Shadowmist. "We're just hunting." She said. Suddenly she swiveled around when a snap of a twig was made. She leaped onto whatever it was and felt her claws sink into warm flesh. She looked down at the fat rabbit she had caught and smiled.
((Twilightstar doesn't have a mate. Okay, it starts out as a crush with both. Then one cat has to ask the other if she/he would like to be mates!))Twilightstar looked around and smiled. The wind ruffled her fur and she closed her eyes.
Blackash curled his tail in a friendly curl. He looked at Twilightstar. "Twilightstar, can I ask you something?"
Blackash sighed. "Look, I've liked you a long time now. I really..need you I guess. I like being near you, smelling your scent. You're a part of me. Will you be my mate?"
((Oops didn't see your post!! Sorry!))Twilightstar widened her eyes and looked around nervously. "Umm...." She said. She stood up and walked to Blackash.
Twilightstar stood near to Blackash. "I'm sorry, Blackash." She said. "But I'm not ready for a mate right now."
Blackash looked at her. "Fine." He said, his eyes cold. "Just.." He ran off, his eyes blazing. You dumb, mousebrained tom! She'll never like you.
Twilightstar sighed and sat down. "This always happens..." She said. She watched Blackash run away and guilt overwhelmed her. At least I told the truth...
Blackash closed his eyes, thoughts from his apprenticeship overcoming his other thoughts. "Oh come on, Blackash. You can't fall for her!" A voice drawled.
Blackash hissed and turned his head. "Ivoryvine? You.." He snarled, standing up. "Leave her alone! You..foxdung!" He hissed. "Well, I suppose I should, but I won't. She's a mousebrain, anyway." It snarled.
Shadowfrost padded through the sparse forest that was inside of RiverClan's territory. He preferred it over the thick woods of ThunderClan that he often saw across the river. Plus there were the small streams he often sat at and rested. Now though he was laying along the bank of one of the streams. It was not flooded like the river and he watched it hoping to catch a couple fish who lived in the shallow water. So far he had not had any luck.
Shadowfrost's ears perked up at the sound of Silverwood. He stood up and greeted her, "Hello Silverwood. Stretching your legs?"
He flicked an ear, "It's okay. I'm sure you're stressed out about a lot of things right now." He lay back down and watched the river. "I'm trying to see if I can get us any fish," he mewed in a low voice.
Shadowfrost nodded, "It's okay. This stream feeds into the river so it hasn't flooded. Occasionally I've been able to catch some small fish here." It was a peaceful little stream that meandered through RiverClan's territory. "No big fish like you'll find in the river, but they taste good."
((Okay, I'll just catch a few fish first and he'll head back with Silverwood))
((Okay, I'll just catch a few fish first and he'll head back with Silverwood))
Shadowfrost nodded, "Sure. Just don't let your shadow fall into the river, it spooks the fish." He gazed intently at the water, waiting and hoping a fish would swim by.
Shadowfrost hooked a small fish out of the water with a rapid paw, he pinned it to the shore and quickly killed it. He looked up at Silverwood, "I haven't told anyone about it." He tucked the fish away from the stream and gazed back at the water, praying to StarClan for a second fish.
Shadowfrost flicked an ear, acknowledging her words, but he didn't answer. His muscles tensed as he spotted another fish and he turned all of his focus onto it. It was a bit bigger than the first one he had caught and didn't want to lose this prey. It kept swimming just out of reach of his paws and Shadowfrost wanted to jump into the stream for it but he kept himself still. The only part of him that moved was the occasional twitch of his tail stump.
((So, in Thunderclan this one kit, Foxkit, just fell into the river. Could someone save him? Please?))
Finally Shadowfrost leaped into the river and dove his head into the water for the fish. The warm taste of blood flooded his mouth as he stood up and the fish flailed in his mouth. The stream only went up to his belly. He climbed back onto the shore and set the dead fish down to the other one. "That probably scared the rest off. Let's head back to camp."
