In my opinion, the whole Roux impregnating Vianne thing really ruined the ending. I had been enjoying the book a lot up until that point. It simply did not make sense and did not need to happen. He was supposedly in love with Jospehine, and they even later move in together. Why would he do that? Did anyone else feel this way?

I agree with Raquel. It's called "The Lollipop Shoes" ("The girl with no shadow" in the US, I think)
Read the third one and everything will make even more sense ;) It's called 'peaches for monsieur le curé'.
Thanks guys! I will read the rest of the series. I didn't realize it was a series, I am glad it doesn't just end that way. Even so, I really dislike any form of infidelity. Which ends up ruining a lot of plotlines, haha, as I am never sympathetic to cheating.
