2015 Reading Challenge [Closed] discussion

I thought I would really enjoy this week's challenge. I mean, I love reading the morning cartoons in the newspaper (ok, I DID back when I was reading actual newspapers) and I liked comic books back in the day. And yes, I understand there is a difference between comics and graphic novels. But it didn't do it for me. My favorite part of reading books is when I get sucked into the world, when I feel like I'm a character, when it's happening all around me. I really felt like the graphic novel experience is more 2D.

But...thanks for the opportunity to expand my horizons!

I am not looking forward to this week for those very reasons Biana. Hopefully the book I chose is more inspiring.

Although I love Scott Pilgrim series - It can really be off-putting to some. Don't lose hope! There are some FANTASTIC graphic novels out there. If you are into historical fiction try The Complete Maus.
