I know! But it's different from all the girls who get picked--it cracks me up how in the movie thhey're all magically thin or in shape
Finnick stood on one end of the grand stage, letting his eyes settle blankly on the crowd, his smile broad and plastic. His hair was its usual perfectly styled mess, the loose and formal white shirt he was wearing over his jeans unbuttoned three buttons, revealing his smooth and broad chest. His perfect blue eyes cascaded over the higher class women in the back row, landing on the dull brown of the mayor's eyes with a wink. He knew he and Mags were about to get drawn. And it killed him. But he simply played the part, nodding and waving as he walked to central stage behind Fiadora, their disstrict's rep, her hair green and spiky, her pale pink skin glittering in the sun as she tittered on about him before drawing Mags name. Mags. Not her. He couldn't handlle it and his smile half fell as he wrapped his arms around the old woman in a hug, then turning to face the crowd with her.
The girls clung to each other as the painted woman reached into the bowl and swirled her hand around before picking a name. "Brenlin" Finnick searched the crowd for the girl silently
Diaspora grinned and let loose a tittering laugh as she spoke to her oh so adoring and enthusiastic audience, her hand on the girls shoulder. Finnick's eyes, meanwhile, locked on hers in a vice, narrow view, his eyes strong and warm, like the tides of the churning sea as he nodded nearly unnoticeably to her. One more to keep alive, he thought. one more to protect. and with that, the competitors were escorted into the vast, white washed district Capitol, the great stone pillars hauled out if the sea and carved like sailors knots, giving Finnick a serious case of déjà Vu.
((Don't forget 7, 8 or 9! :) ))

Finnick sighed, lounged back in an overstuffed armchair, feet up on the crystal table. It seemed everything the capital had was overstuffed or overdone till it was no longer enjoyable. Fiadora, a stickle for manners and "properness" would've harshly reprimanded one of the women for this behavior, yet she was too busy at the moment eyeing Finnick like a prime cut of meat, as she was rather portly and enjoyed a good steak. Finnick was cool as could be, overconfident to a fault. Yet his cool and lax smile faded as he watched the girl enter
He yawned and leaned his head back, the steady rocking movement of the speeding train lulling him into sleep. He closed his eyes and yawned, dreamless until he woke and his eyes landed on the dark windows, pulling off the blanket he had been covered with
He shrugged , his eyes half open, his hair still a perfect and beautiful mess as he stood, stretching and walking up to the window beside the younger woman, his breath against her. "Anywhere is comfortable for me" he smiled groggily, turning to watch mountains fly past
He shrugged plainly and rubbed the back of his neck, leaning against the window. He'd seen this view twice before and now it was nothing. Lim not sure. But you do"
He didn't look over at her, his eyes glued to the intricate wave pattern in blue variants on the wall paper. Yet he ran a hand through her thick dark locks, setting his jaw and swallowing before starting to unbutton his shirt. "Not if you say that"
((Psst...psst...*whispers*"It's Brenlin"))
He looked over at her in a patronizing way, as if he were annoyed by her, shaking his head slightly with the slightest hint of a melting smirk, his teeth shining. He let his eyes sweep up and down her body obviously. "You can work an angle"

"Oh please" he looked at her as if she were some pathetic pre-teen who had just accused him of loving her. "I have slept with women in every district. Don't even think-" he chuckled and shook his head as he rubbed his eyes. "Look. Just get in with the careers. You'll be fine"
