Tonight, August 27th was the latest meeting of the Forever YA of Charm City.

Discussion:
BOM - Everything Leads to You - average rating 3.6
-It was refreshing to see LGBT YA characters who were secure in their identity
-We went back and discussed some of the previous BOMs (Me and Earl and the Dying Girl,Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe, I'll Give You the Sun), as Sarah had missed some meetings.
-Sarah has heard good things about the FYA BOM for September,Belzhar. We decided to go with this pick and skip the poll (there was only one other book nominated anyway)
-The second book in the The Diviners series (Lair of Dreams) came out on Tuesday. Will you read it?
-Books that don’t live up to the hype - We Were Liars, The Girl on the Train(for some of us),
-How Fifty Shades of Grey and similar books are ruining women’s self-esteems and/or demonstrating how low women’s self esteem already is
-judging books by their covers
-novellas - The Lunar Chronicles, The Selection, Under the Never Sky, Starters ( You are on your own with links for these ones :-D)
