I am really struggling with my goal this year. We should get extra credit for reading 1,200 page books. That should count for like two or three books, right? LOL! Just kidding! This week... I FINISHED
last night. Finally! Gonna enjoy a few normal sized books for the next few weeks before I pick up the next Martin tale. This weeks plan:
(time permitting)
i think i'm about on schedule. I'm currently reading "the racketeer" by John Grisham & looking for another Blake Crouch book to start since I really enjoyed the "wayward pines" trilogy. Since I have a busted hand & can't do much, (icluding type!) i hope to get a lot of reading done!
I've actually finished the 52 goal but of course I'm still going to keep on reading. A) Books are my oxygen and B) I have a personal goal I like to meet each year. :)
For this week, I'm trying to read Bad Science and The Stars Never Rise. I also have the new Thor and Batgirl graphic novels (Thor: The Goddess of Thunder and Batgirl: The Batgirl of Burnside).
And Travelling Sunny... one Martin book should definitely count as multiple books. They are huge! Congrats on finishing A Feast for Crows.

I have read 25 out of a goal of 52, so feeling like I can meet my goal this year! However, my reading is all over the place! I just started Jonathan Kellerman's Motive and Michael Connelly's The Burning Room. I also want to finish (finally!) The Girl on the Train.

Myabe my reading states have changed? I used to be able to read a Kellerman in a day! Oh well. More time to finish Girl on a train!!
I've read 35 of 52 books, so I really think I'll do it this year!I think since the last time I checked in I've read

I'm currently reading

Congrats to everyone! No matter where you are in the challenge, just attempting to read 52 books in a year is commendable.I have read 48 books, so I will definitely hit my goal. It's a nice feeling :)
This week I am reading the brand new Lisbeth Salander book, The Girl in the Spider's Web.
I also just finished the second book in The Night Angel trilogy last night: Shadow's Edge so I'm going to start the last book, Beyond the Shadows this weekend.
Wow - I missed this one. I finished my goal of 52 back in May and my personal goal of 75 in August. I just finished book number 92 this morning... so whatever I end with I will have done better than last year where I just barely made the 52.
