I am very much not okay with that ending. I'm glad the air is clear between Shazi and Khalid. But what happened with Despina?!?! Poor Rajput, he was one of my favorites too. :/

I really enjoyed it when I read it a couple of months ago. I thought the characters were very believable, and even though the romance was a little insta-lovey, it still made sense?
Didn't care about Tariq's or Shahrzad's storyline one bit, but oh well. The rest was pretty fab.
I also ship Despina and Jalal so freaking hard. xD
I read the book about a month or two ago and It is the best I have read this year!!I think the over all plot was amazing and the slow build though out the story till you found out about the curse and what happen to make Rajput kill these girls. The ending drove me crazy though! I have that we have to wait so long for the next point. I need to know what happens and if they get back together.I did listen to the audio book for it and it really seemed to bring everything alive more. The end chapters with the city being distorted really came to life

Despina was my favourite chatacter i cant believe i forgot about her :(
The curse was ridiculous though. I mean he wanted to punish Khalid but he basically punished so many familes by putting them through the same thing as he went through himself. Bad man!!
I kept reading the last chapter like wait what just happened!!!! Despina was my favorite character. I was so happy when Jalal found out Despina was pregnant :) I'm definitely excited for book two.
