Woot this is my kind of topic! Looking forward to this one and I think I can share at least 50 books!

I think I only have one book on my shelf I would recommend for this topic that isn't stretching it! At least I have one! ;)
I wasn't sure I had one to recommend, but now I do....I'm reading it and I'm so thankful it's day light.
I thought I might have to skip next month, as I don't tend to read "creepy" books. But then it occurred to me that drinking blood is pretty creepy, and my list began...
With so many different ways to interpret creepy reads, everyone can join in! You don't have to read horror to have good recommendations!

Great list, Kat! Shadow and Bone wasn't one that came to my mind but you're so right, those shadowfold monsters gave me some freaky mental images!

I really enjoyed everyone's recommendations so far this month. Lots of interesting books! YAY for spook season!
Here's my video for 6 creepy and pretty quick Halloween reads. Sorry once again for the lateness in posting factor:-P https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tj88V...
A werewolf that can fly and a telekinetic/psychopathic vampire lord hellbent on bringing human extinction by raising an undead army. Just putting that out there. Lol
Hey guys, just want to make sure everyone knows there is a separate discussion thread for sharing links. I don't mind if you post your link here on the topic announcement, but they might get lost among other conversations & putting it here might make it harder for people to find it if they just look at the sharing thread. A link to that thread is above.
I am a little behind watching/reading everyone's posts right now but will definitely be checking them all out soon, thanks for sharing! And as always, thank you so much for making this group a success. I love seeing what you guys recommend.

Remember, it's okay to upload at any point in the month of October! Trina and I typically upload during the first full week of each month. :D
Mari, Orla, Patty, Kat, & Allie, I've moved your links to the links boards so they can be found in the same place as everyone else's. :)

Ideas:
-Horror recommendations.
-Paranormal recommendations.
-Mystery recommendations.
-Creature Feature. (books with werewovles, vampires, witches, zombies, aliens)
-Books that creeped me out. (regardless of genre)
Don't forget to aim for the first full week of October (the 4th - 10th) to get your posts up so that if anyone wants to pick up a book we recommended they'll have time to do so before Halloween time is over.
Please share you links in the designated thread, so others can find you!: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
By the way, you can use the hashtag #monthlyrecs to share your links on social media!
