Sōdo Umareru's home on the fiftieth floor.

Sōdo walked through the door with his new, unfortunate companion...

"Oh my goodness it must've taken forever to afford this place!" TK exclaimed as she walked in behind him, gaping at everything.

"You're going to cook dinner, and then we'll be even," Sōdo said, waving towards the kitchen.

"I'll have you know my life is worth more than one lousy meal!" She said indignantly.

"What do you want? To save my life?" he asked, sighing.

"I would never want your life to be in danger to the point that I would have to save it." She said, shaking her head.

"So what are you going to pay me with? Your body?" he asked, leaning over her. Maybe he could scare her off.

She tilted her head, not understanding what he meant. "I'll do what I can to repay you." She said, smiling obliviously.

"You're clueless. Just cook something," he replied, sighing.

"Okay?" She looked confused but didn't over think it as she went to the kitchen to see what he had in it. Maybe she could find something that would help her cooking taste better.

Sōdo unequipped his armor, in clothing that was white, with black jeans. he wanted to relax in his house. He sat down in his living space.

TK took her time, trying to make it as good as possible even though her skill wasn't very high. When she finished she had concocted something that at least looked and tasted like sushi though for some reason had an orange after taste.

Sōdo waited out in the dining room for her, wondering why saving some girl had ended in this.

"Okay, here it is." She said and set down a plate in front of him. She hoped he liked it and watched as he took his first bite.

Sōdo didn't dislike it, obviously, but the orange was a bit weird. "It's good," he said, nodding.

She smiled in relief and went to go get her own food.

He ate quickly, wondering if she really meant it when she said she'd stick around until she wanted to leave.

Once she had finished she went out to him. "Need anything else?" She asked with a smile.

"No," he said, sighing. "You can go now, if you want."

"Okay." She said, surprisingly agreeable. She started walking out the door then turned back to him. "I'll be back early tomorrow!" She called then left.

Sōdo groaned, going to bed reluctantly. "Really?"

~The next morning (around 4:00am)~

TK let herself into Sōdo's house and started putting her supplies in his kitchen. She had learned new techniques the night before and gotten more ingredients though her skill hadn't grown much. It would over time but it might take a while.

Sōdo was still asleep, taking it easy for the day. He didn't want to deal with this debt-crazy girl.

After she had gotten the kitchen sorted out she started cleaning up his house as much as she could. Since she didn't own any of it though the most she could do was move it around.

Sōdo woke, but didn't get up. Why should he? There wasn't anything he really wanted to do that day, anyway.

When she had everything clean up TK started making him breakfast, making an omelet she had found out how to make the night before that actually tasted like egg.

Sōdo sighed and came downstairs slowly, hoping she wasn't there.

"Good morning." She said warmly and handed him a plate with the omelet on it.

"Good morning..." he said, taking it despite the irritation.

"I'm working on recreating real world tastes right now so tell me what you think." She said eagerly.

"Okay," he said, cutting it with the side of the fork to eat.

She looked at him hopefully, biting her lip as she waited for the verdict.

"It's good," he murmured, eating the rest slowly.

She smiled brightly and went back to the kitchen to clean up.

He sat slowly, sighing. What was he going to do.

Since food crumbled into bits if it expired TK couldn't make food for him to eat for later since most food didn't last very long so she packed up her ingredients without cooking anything else.

Sōdo wondered why she wanted to do all this. He hadn't done anything for her besides throw a sword.

When she was done in the kitchen she sat down across from him to wait until he was done eating.

"Hello," he said, waving slightly.

"What are your plans for today?" She asked as he finished breakfast.

"I don't have any," he said, sighing.

"Oh." She said, not sure what to say to that. She supposed she could work in his kitchen on trying to raise her cooking skill if he wasn't going anywhere.

"What are planning?" he asked, shrugging.

"Getting my cooking skill up." She said thoughtfully, planning out what she was going to make.

"Alright then," he said, nodding.

"What are your favorite foods?" She asked.

"It doesn't matter. I'll eat until I'm full," he replied.

"But I want it to be more enjoyable." She said with a frown.

"I eat everything, so it's fine," he said, smirking.
