Okay, so I wanted to bring up a couple things I saw people point out on Tumblr.

1. Aelin transitions from wearing Sam's clothes to bed to wearing Rowan's clothes to bed. I don't know how I completely overlooked this but it happens and I think this is really saying a lot about her relationship with Rowan because Sam is someone who was and still is very special to Aelin. She even says at the grave scene that she loved him. The fact that she's now wearing Rowan's clothes instead means she's found someone to really move on with. Also, the fact that she gives Rowan Sam's clothes to wear when Rowan first comes to Adarlan is another huge symbolic moment that says a lot about what Rowan means to Aelin.

2. And this one is a bit more important I think... Celaena and Aelin are two very different people. This is something that Sarah establishes in the book and has also talked about in interviews. I could see this difference between characters just from Aelin's behavior, plus, a lot of the characters point out that she looks different now and carries herself differently, like a Queen. Somebody on Tumblr said that this change wasn't so obvious and evident to them until Aedion or Rowan (I can't remember which) comments saying that Aelin has not bought a single thing for herself since she returned to Adarlan!!! This is true! And Celaena would have definitely gone shopping, you guys! She loves clothes and chocolate. She goes shopping in COM and HOF. In TOG she looks forwards to becoming champion so she can go shopping! Our girl has truly changed! She is a queen now! She is no longer Celaena Sardothien! She cares about her people more than she cares about herself!
