I am really liking the story so far. I've always loved The Wizard of Oz, ever since I was a kid, and this spin on the story just sounds fascinating.

One thing i am not a fan of is Star. I am absolutely terrified of rats (deathly afraid), so while she might be described as adorable and be Amy's version of "Toto", I cringe every time i read the word "rat". I might have to think of Star as a bunny or something. lol.

Random thoughts so far:
1. Amy's mom is absolutely horrible!!! I never have any sympathy for parents blaming kids for "ruining" their lives. Unforgivable in my book.
2. I really like Indigo, so I am hoping she'll stick around for a while.
3. I might have already cried when reading the scene with Ollie. I absolutely hate animal injuries, deaths, tortures, and pretty much any bad stuff. I can handle pretty much anything when it comes to people, but not animals. I am super intrigued by why he would cut his own wings though. I am sure it's nothing good, but I want to know.
4. I love Amy's sarcasm!

I am super excited for tomorrow's section!

haha Bogdana! I love it. That's how I feel reading about chickens/birds. Nope. Not a huge fan of rats in general but I'm going with it, maybe a ferret or hamster.

I'm with you on most of your thoughts too. I like where this is going a different take on the tale making the savior the bad guy. Comparing it to her mom though was accurate. I want to know more about the world as it stands and why does everyone in the city wear perma-smile?

I'm also liking Indigo and hope she sticks around. She already said she's dead if caught so if she's caught breaking more rules what's going to happen they kill her twice? Go on with it. Explain thing to Dorothy. Also unless it's a chicken or other feathered creature with a beak and talons (with few exceptions including Hedwig) I don't like animals hurt either. Ollie I want to know more and yeah why would he do that.

Also I love her sarcasm and seeing this done to Ollie for the offense of sass...I don't think Dorothy and Amy are going to get along.

On another rant I don't like the mother or anyone in her school. First if there's a fight or something of that nature it is the administrators obligation to the county and state to hear both sides and investigate not just say you picked on a pregnant girl even though your on the ground and you're suspended. Also how is she not the one being called names? She's the one who got knocked up in high school and acts like it's totally cool and on track with life. Really? So trapping some boy is your goal in life. And her mom, the way she acts ups and downs and taking her money. I'm okay if she is lost in the tornado. I can see why even with Oz looking a bit evil and dangerous she would still consider it a better option.
