QoS Buddy Read #AEJreadsQoS discussion

All of us have waited for this book to come out -- some have waited a full year, some a couple a months, and the lucky ones have only waited a couple of days. Nevertheless, after we read Heir of Fire, I'm sure that we've formulated theories about what we think will happen in Queen of Shadows. This is where we'll share those theories or things we want to see happen in Queen of Shadows!

I'd like to say I have QoS theories. But honestly, I have absolutely no idea. Sarah J Maas always manages to surprise me no matter what.
I hope Aelin comes back with a vengeance, and I'm thinking there'll be a confrontation with Arobynn. Something big needs to happen after al the setup in the last book. And it's too early yet to confront the King.
I really don't know what to say about Dorian. Dorian's like my baby and my heart would break to see anything happen to him. I may be a Chaolaena shipper, but I still love Dorian to no end

I still hold out hope for Chaol and Celaena, but I don't know. I don't think we'll see them together in this book. It's been a while since she's seen him but I'm hoping for a good reunion. At this point, what I really care about is Chaol and Dorian's friendship. I don't want them to lose that so I'm hoping for the best. I really don't think there needs to be romance for these characters yet and I'd appreciate her not throwing in another love interest for Aelin. But, we'll see. I think Aedion will be fine and I that Rowan will find a way to possibly get to Adarlan. I don't know where she's going with Manon, but I think she'll end up helping the group somehow.

I agree with you Olivia! I don't think the Chaol & Celaena relationship will continue which I am sad about but I gladly have stronger ships at the moment! Hehe.
I am hoping to see some massive revenge on Arobynn. To see him finally get whooped for all his evil doings..

Yeah, I don't think the Chaelin ship will ever sail again, especially with the animosity and hate that Aelin had for him in the end of CoM and HoF -- also how Chaol hated/feared the Fae part of Aelin. That'll be hard to get over.

I'm really excited to see a showdown with Arobynn and the King. I hate the king so much lol. There's so many things I want to see happen like Aedion and Rowan meeting! I need Dorian to be okay, like more than okay. I'll cry forever if something bad happens to him lol
