I haven't seen much mention of Heather Webber's - Lucy Valentine series. Start with Truly, Madly
Very light, sweet, with some cosy aspects - but sometimes you need books like these before you dive into something heavy.
I'm really enjoying Hailey Edwards's Black Dog series. First book is
. Not sure if this is new to anyone else but I hadn't heard of it until recently.
Another book I just finished is
. It was so funny. I think the author is more well know for her mainstream stuff but she is self-publishing her paranormal stuff.
I am not sure if this one is known or not but its one I picked up the other day at The Works. Have just started reading it
I discovered the Shapes of Autumn series by Veronica Blade a few years ago. I read everything by her now! Tall, Dark & Lonely and Black Heart by R.L. Mathewson are really good as well!
You can not go wrong with Sarah Rees Brennan:
(first in a trilogy) or
(again, first in a trilogy.)If it's not well known you're after, there's always my own - the Innocence Cooper series, books 1 and 2 out now
Rivi Jacks, her first book, Sweetwater, still anxious to read the second one she says is coming. She also started a second series the first book is Seeking Justice, but I havent read it yet.Nicky Charles The Law of the Lycans series, book one is Bonded. There are 7 books in the series.

Honestly, Linda, after I read the new releases of series that
I have been waiting on, I search my kindle unlimited pages for something new. It may lead me to a book half-way through a series I havent read, the first book in a seies I have thought about trying but price was prohibitive, or to a new author.
I am one of those that if I like the first book will read the whole series. So, if there is one book in the kindle unlimited list and I like it, I will purchase every book in the series within a month.
I will also pull books from the "readers who liked this also liked" lists here on goodreads or on amazon/kindle.
The last place I find books is to look at what the authors of some of my favorite books are reading by checking out their author page here on goodreads. I figure if they write what I like I will probably like what they read as well.
I recently went through a steampunk phase and read this series: Steampunk Chronicles by Kady CrossWhat else has everyone been reading?? I'm always in search of a new author to love!
Love finding those hidden gems from lesser recommended authors. Here are some of those books :-D : Really enjoyed this series from Patti Roberts can't wait for the next book:
Also enjoyed these books:
Liked this two book series too:
I love the Generation V series by M.L. Brennan. I don't think it's as widely read as it deserves to be.
I'll second the mention of Semi-Charmed - fun read. And you must try Jane Cousins Southern Sanctuary Series - LOL funny, the only other author to make me laugh so hard is Shelly Laurenston. Each book has great new couple, with lots of wacky, interesting secondary characters. Fun, sexy, action - the whole package.
I second the Southern Sanctuary series... Just discovered those last week and up to To Seduce A Siren. Very fun series!!
We're all about the indie authors and lesser knowns at Knockin' Books. We just read and loved
: http://www.knockinbooks.com/reviews/b...And I'll jump on the bandwagon with
and its sequel
. Our reviewers loved both books (they are a laugh a minute!)
I like Mark Henwick's Bite Back series:
I also really enjoyed Laura Resnick's Esther Diamond series:
I just read Memoirs of a Girl Wolf, it's a new book by a new author so not a lot of people had read it, but it's really good. It needs editing, but the story is suspenseful, surprising, and entertaining from the first to last page. The characters are also great. Strong female protagonist. It's about a wolf shape shifter but it also deals with real life issues--kind of reminds me of the early seasons of Buffy and the high school issues they focused on through different monsters. I'm excited for the next book--there's still a lot that needs to be answered.
I am a new unknown author and would love for you to take a look at my debut paranormal suspense, Song of the Ancients. It's getting great ratings/review here and on Amazon, but it is so hard for a debut small press author to get widespread readership. If you take the time to look and/or read...thank you
hey, i am new to the forum... I have been looking for a good series after fever and the only one which has really grabbed my attention is the Gwen Sparks series by Stephanie nelson.... I want more stuff like that... do suggest. Thanks.
I love Mason Sabre's Society series. Alsk, anything by Lucian Bane.Another good paranormal author is Laurell Hamilton, or Jeaniene Frost.
If you like your Para romance series on the darker side this is a good one. All the Kings Men. https://www.goodreads.com/series/8128...Starts with Rise of the Fallen by Donya Lynne and it's currently a freebie on Amazon
I started reading
by Annette Marie which is the second in her Steel & Stone series. It's supposed to be a YA series but it reads much more like an adult novel would. I flew through the first novel and now I'm practically done with the second, it's an amazing series. I discovered it through Goodreads and I also have Kindle Unlimited which helps me discover lots of authors that are not as well known.
Megha wrote: "hey, i am new to the forum... I have been looking for a good series after fever and the only one which has really grabbed my attention is the Gwen Sparks series by Stephanie nelson.... I want more ..."If you mean the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning then you might like J.R. Ward, Gena Showalter, Kresley Cole, C.E. Murphy and Michelle Sagara.
They write PNR and Fantasy. Another REALLY great book is
I read Braile House last year when it came out. It was the debut book by a new author, James Wayne King. It was one of the best paranormal books I've ever read and truly kept me on the edge of my seat. Enjoy! It really was terrific!
