Hello there,

I had a new cover made for my book and would like that to be the default image shown on my book's page. The link to where it can be seen on Amazon is:

I've set the new cover as the primary default edition but it's not showing up when I go to my book's page. Does it take a while to switch over?

Also, what is the combine all editions function that I keep seeing?

Due to caching, it may take a while to show up properly, but I'm now seeing the new cover on your author's page and on the book page.

The combine function is used when editions are added as new, separate books instead of as new editions (not applicable here).

Sorry, one more question. When I search the book, it's still the old cover that pops up, same with on my dashboard. I can see the new cover if I click on other editions and I do see it on my author page but I want to make sure that's the cover that shows up when people either search it or come across it in the genre search as that is the only cover that will be available now. Will this happen or will it always show the original cover.

Did you follow the instructions in msg2 to set the default edition?

Also please do not change details on the books, GR policy is to leave the ASIN with the edition first on GR

Yes. I did follow the instructions by setting the new edition to the default but it still isn't showing up anywhere as such except on my author page

Then you need to contact GR support,

If I search for your book or view your profile your new cover shows.

If you search for the ASIN/ISBN that would not be the case because that will go to the edition that has it attached.
