Kaito was sleep deprived. It meant a long day of him trailing off his sentences, annoying Ryu more, dozing off, spacing out and most annoyingly, adopting this deafened state he usually encountered without much sleep.

Like a zombie, Kaito trudged to the courtyard, attracting absolutely no attention.. Until he slammed right into a tree and reeled.

Kaito blinked and glanced up, seeing Ryu, but made no comment. Yes, he had gone slightly deaf. Yes, he also was purposely ignoring Ryu.

Kaito reached for his hand and shook his head, as if to clear something out. "Impossible to admit something when...." he trailed off.

Kaito sighed and pulled himself up, leaning on the tree instead. "Don't call me an idiot when you yourself..."

"As a matter of face, I cannot do..." Kaito trailed off AGAIN, and it was definitely not on purpose.

"I really can't........" Kaito meant to add the words 'help it' at the end but he couldn't.

"I told you, I..." Kaito grimaced, trying to glare at Ryu.

Kaito gasped slightly. "Is this how you treat a sleepy person?" he mumbled, managing to complete the sentence.

Kaito stood up straight. "Well, Ry-Ry, If so, I'll be on my way." he cleared his throat first.

"Gotcha," Kaito grinned tiredly.

"I didn't get enough sleep." Kaito replied, running a hand through his hair.

"Ry." Kaito gave him a warning look.

Kaito looked away in response, biting his lip.

"Ha. Fooled you." Kaito nudged Ryu, grinning.

"Made you apologize.. Again." Kaito smirked.

"My bad, Everyone has their own nightmares." Kaito quoted.

"Pay attention the the first two words." Kaito shot back.

"See?" Kaito grinned, starting to laugh a little.

Kaito frowned. "Jerk," he sighed jokingly.

"Shut up, Ry." He shot back, smirking.

"Can't stop won't stop, Ry." Kaito grinned.

"Okay, I'll stop." Kaito sighed and he turned to walk away.

Kaito looked back. "Alright then." he sat on the ground, looking at the cracks in the stone tiles.

"Hey, don't transform into a rhino and trample me." Kaito looked up.

"Your form...." Kaito gestured to him.

Kaito nodded and closed his eyes. He was slowly falling asleep, miraculously. And the courtyard was empty.

Kaito was slowly slipping into the world of flying horses.

Kaito's eyes slowly opened and he blinked once. "Eh......" he looked at Ryu.

"Did someone just kiss me?" Kaito's face felt hot.

"Ryu.. Do you know who it was?" Kaito asked him.

"Was it... You?" Kaito asked slowly.

"Um...." Kaito looked away.

Kaito dragged Ryu back using a light lasso. "Hey!!"

"Was. It. You?" Kaito asked calmly.

"Daym..." Kaito whistled and he ran a hand through his hair before suddenly pulling Ryu to him and kissing him for a second. "Smooth move.." he was blushing.

"Yes, I just did." Kaito stood up and then turned, like he was going to walk away.

Kaito used his free hand to covered his face. "I.. I can't be seen with a red face.."

"I.. I look weird." Kaito's voice was muffle d

"Are you always this way?!" Kaito muttered softly.

"Nervous." Kaito looked at his gestures.

"So..." Kaito trailed off, his mind whirling from whatever had just happened just now.

"E-Eh?" Kaito stammered slightly. "What'dya mean?"

Kaito bit his lip but anyway moved closer to Ryu and he nodded slightly.

Kaito tilted Ryu's chin up and then he slowly kissed him.
