My mom doesn't read much anymore, but she loved horror and Koontz in particular. I'm not a horror fan AT ALL, so I tried to pick the Koontz book that sounded the least scary.

This book was a little strange, like two different books mashed together. But if you like your gun battles and time traveling Nazis interspersed with a character study, you'll find it here.
