I think you can really see dad's influences here, such as John Milton's Paradise Lost. The whole God war theme, and angels versus demons really comes into play.

Here we have an excerpt from Halvor, a giant that was the voice of the king. He tells us of the God-war...
There is a lot to take in here, but primarily we are told about Elyon the creator and Asroth.
'Asroth was first-created, Elyon's beloved, captain of the Ben-Elim, the Sons of the Mighty. But that was not enough for him, the great deceiver. He spread his deep malice and his lies amongst the Ben-Elim, until a host grew about him. The Kadoshim they became: The Separate Ones.
Halvor tells us of a war in 'Otherworld, the place of spirit' and how Asroth manipulated a great war amongst mankind and the one great giant clan endured 'The Sundering' and became many.
Halvor's account tells us of the past and also hints at the future. We also here of items forged from the Starstone. This Asroth sent to earth and somehow created a link between the earth and otherworld.
What do you guys make of Halvor's account?
