I love how they actually consider what would happen to someone's body after being shocked by so much electricity. Luke didn't just go on his merry way. He had major internal damage.
@Travis, I agree it is hard to believe that with the tech they have in the SW Universe that news of the Emperor's death wouldn't be instantly broadcast to all citizens.
But I guess we have to keep in mind when this book was written, 1994 I think. Things like Twitter and News websites didn't really exist like they do today.
