How does the Narrator's perspective influence the story in The Tell-Tale Heart?

I find intriguing that he felt so much guilt that he had heard the old man's heartbeat after he had committed the cruel deed. The text states,"It is the beating of his hideous heart." Is the guilt from the crime too much for him to handle, or is it the the men that make him mad?

The story is created by the author, and the content of the novel, is through the narrator convey to us. In the story, the narrator through a murder to let us to think about the story. What happened that "he" said the heart still beating. The narrator used the narrative way of terror to told us. We can know that "he" in the story was a Psychiatric patients. The narrator influence the story in the different way to show us a horror stories, but in fact, this story is just told us about a Psychiatric murder his story

The narrator is mad mad as can be. Tells his readers that we think he is mad before we have a clue. Like anytime anyone says that they know what others are saying about, the speaker is really saying things about themselves.
