Autumn (autumnmemory80) Once you and your Book Pal have selected and read your book, post what you thought of the book on this thread. Partners are listed in this thread below. Can't wait to hear about your book choices!

You can go to the original thread Book Pals and click on your partner to see their books and friend them.

** Just a Tip - I like to give my partner at least three books to choose from with one being my top choice. That way they have some freedom as well.

★ ★ IF you have made an attempt to contact your partner with no response, please private message me letting me know so I can work on getting you a new partner for the month. Please give it at least 7 days before posting a comment as not all of our members log in every day. THANK YOU!

Deb Jones (feisty56) | 15 comments Autumn wrote: "Deb will be reading The Bone Collector and I will be reading Elizabeth is Missing!"

I am pleased with Autumn's suggestion to read "The Bone Collector" and am enjoying (is that the correct word for the gruesome crimes in this book?) the read thus far.

Update 10/21/2015: I enjoyed my read of The Bone Collector so much that I moved on to the next in the Lincoln Rhyme series, Coffin Dancer. Just about to turn the final pages on this one, too.

One of the scariest books I've ever read and the original film gave me nightmares. The banging on the doors *covers eyes* Enjoy!

TELL ME YOU'R..."

Hi Aaron. We planned on reading unspeakable (I think that's what it's called).. Did you read it? I was a little disappointed with Tell Me You're Sorry but it was enjoyable enough. Is unspeakable better? (If you've read it).I ordered the paperback because I could not buy the kindle one on amazon. :)

We both finished with reading though not with disscussing it.
Emma read it in one go, I needed little bit longer but it had nothing to do with the book.

I really loved this one and I'm going to read the second one for sure (Her Final Breath) I was extremly impressed by this book and if I want to describe why (any more than in my review) I fear I need to include some spoilers - so I won't do it :-)

message 32: by La Tonya (last edited Oct 20, 2015 05:55PM) (new)

La Tonya Jordan | 55 comments Susan and I read The Clock Struck One by Helen Deakin

Tamara's family has moved from a nice home in the city to a dilapidated home in a small town. The house starts to speak to hear and stranger events start to occur all of which is unexplainable. The clock starts to tick backwards and images of a girl start to reappear and finally the monster. What can Tamara do? Who will believe her? The ending will tell you the answers to your questions. But, Tamara can not. A pleasant and surprising read.

Quote:

Another scream pierces the air and this time it is much closer. Very close indeed. The something that was following her has become many and has surrounded her. Closing in towards her; closer, closer, ever so closer and someone once more is screaming. Very close.
