Young Adult Crazed Book Club discussion

I read this at the beginning of the year and I eventually came to love the whole series but i feel like the first book was kinda meh to me...maybe if i went back and read it now i would enjoy it more but if I hadn't heard great things about the rest of the seires from so many people, i might've just stopped after this one

I read the book some time in the beginning of 2015 and I truly fell in love with the series! As much as I wanted to scream and yell in the second and third book that Clary and Jace were not related I still liked it and loved when they eventually ended up together even though there were many complications they made it together and honestly that's all that mattered.

I read this book last year and totally liked it!
A lot of people said that Clary was really annoying in this one but I didn't feel it that way.
I loved the world, the characters, the plot. I hated Valentine because I already knew what he did-if you know what i mean-but besides that this is one of my favorites series. This first book it was good but it gets better and better with the others.
