The Secret Scripture and Where Angels Fear To Tread, though I've sort of postponed the latter till I finally finish TSS.
Finishing One by Conrad Williams, Starting Strangewood by Christopher Golden and getting through The Walking Dead.
i am reading the second one to vampire kisses i enjoyed the first onebut the second one its taking me a while to get through coz there is not much happining but i am hoping that it will pick up soon n then i will be hooked
:D
I just picked up The Summoning. I'm only a few chapters in my so far I really like it! Good ghosty story!
Okay, I'm half way through Blue Moon and I read that a few people didn't like the ending so now I'm concerned. :(Katie, I am pretty much obssessed with Melissa Marr. Her take on the faery world is amazing. I would even say my favorite.
All, I have the Luxe series and was thinking about starting that series or the Vampire Academy series next...thoughts????
Any and all advice would be welcome...
I just finished Blue Moon and it wasn't as bad as ppl made it out to be. Obviously she won't leave it that way! I'm looking forward to the next book to see how she fixes it all. :-)I'm now reading Wings and after that, Poison Study. Meantime I'm listening to Outlander on audio and really liking it!

AGREED! I'm so glad I took your advice!
I am reading Club Vampyre. It is an omnibus of the first three Anita Blake books by Laurell K. Hamilton. I finished the first book and really enjoyed it!
Jo wrote: "I am reading The Host. So far so good :)"Great to see that you are enjoying it now. :-) Guess you must be past the initial boring phase!
Jo wrote: "I heard everyone saying there was an initial boring phase but i havent found any of it boring so far. Maybe because i was really in the mood to read it, i dont know "I guess I found it slow initially coz I read it right after Uglies, which was a quick read, with no slow spots.
I just finished reading Twilight and then started reading The Sea by John Banville, but I'm halfway through and it's not the most entertaining, so I might stop and read Tell It To The Skies instead.
I started reading Tell it to the Skies last night and then ended up reading half of it because I couldn't stop. It's quite a good book, easy to read.
It's about a woman who moved to Venice to escape her past, and then someone turns up and is brought back into her life, and then the majority of the book is talking about what happened in the past (sort of like a separate story inside the story) and then it goes back to the present, but I haven't got that far yet. Something bad happened in her past, and I haven't found out what yet! I wanna know!!

They're both very gritty and sexy but I think the show has a bit more...what's the word...risque-ness(not a word but work with me here) to it. I quite like it!

I think I ended up giving it two or three stars. The next book in the series is a lot better. The third book is muchmuchmuch better. I just finished the ninth book and ended up giving it five stars. That almost never happens to me!
Just started A Dirty Job, by Christopher Moore. After I'm done, I think I'll read Dean Koontz's Brother Odd.
I am reading The Likeness Tana FrenchWill do a review after finishing it and check in with you guys now and then. I really like her work, In the Woods and The Likeness is a different book with same characters, only a new case in her Ireland police procedures novels.
I've got a choice between Brother Odd and Blue Bloods. Does anyone have an opinion on those two books?
I also loved the Blue Blood,House of Night and The Luxe series!!! Can't wait for the squels to come out!!! I'm pumped to get my hands on "Catching Fire" too!!
Just started reading The Dead Girls' Dance (The Morganville Vampires, #2)by Rachel Caine. I liked Glass Houses, so moved on to #2.
H.O.N reads more like a mini series I think like Buffy the Vamp. slayer, I'm an equal oppertunity reader! LOL! I might just have to check out those Morganville Vamps too! My list goes on and on! He-He gotta <3 it!
Just can't read as many as I want!! Do you own a kindel? everyone keeps asking me if I have one and I don't :( I can't really do my paper back swap that way, Now can I? It sounds great in theory but I like exchangeing books with friends and trading them to read the new stuff Hmmm... Just thinking about it.
