Knowing that I was going to be learning as I go I never expected to win, so I can't say I'm disheartened. As for how to find those authors who haven't already come to this group, the best idea I have is to reference the group in our Inkshares updates and hope they read them. Not the best way I'm sure, but all I've got.
We have to ask them to make a blog post for us via email. I asked them to do a post on the coloring book and they were really nice about it - they want to encourage collaboration and community, so I think they'll make a blog post about this for us.
They could also add a link to the "Crowdfunding" and maybe "FAQ" sections of the Inkshares website.
You could add a link in your author bio, John, since you're pretty much the most connected of all of us and new members to the site are going to come across you at some point. We could also add links in our book synopsis sections.

Cara, this is a great idea. I'll see about the links, but for now I think if we can look at something more direct from Inkshares, i.e. an email, blog post, or addition to FAQ/Crowdfunding, that would be a very effective and most direct approach. We'll leave that to the Inkshares folks to decide how they want to do it (since I know they peruse our discussions here).
I've added a link to the top of my book description. Maybe that will catch some stragglers if they come across it.

How about it folks? Is there a simple way to do this other than to brute force comb over ever entry in the Nerdist catalog? Divide and conquer? It's challenging now because we have so many members in this group it's hard to differentiate between entries in or out.
Jeremy or Avalon -- is it possible to send out an email to the contestants to link them into this group and tell them about this great opportunity to come aboard here and work together with the growing author community?
Other thoughts?
