I love vamp books!!!!!!! They're so amazing. My fav is the Twilight series. Although, I did like Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side.
I like a good mixture of bad and good vamps. It's always fun to have both. I, personally, prefer them with fangs, but they're good fangless, too (Edward). My own vampire story has vampires with fangs.
Legends? Hmm, let's see. There's always the wooden stakes, the garlic, the bat-morphing, the sleeping in coffins (or not sleeping at all), the aversion to religious things, the lack of reflection. Um, I can't think if there's anything else. Everybody seems to think that vampires don't have souls, which is why they have no reflections and why they can't stand anything religious. I don't know if those myths are what you're looking for, since they're pretty well-known, but hey.
Bram Stoker's Dracula....that's how a vampire should be...also quite like some of Anne Rice's older stuff like Interview with a Vampire...Lestat is an awesome character..
I'm waiting to see read Anne Rice's stuff and same with Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side, Twilight was okay,
Never read Dracula lol.
Yeah i think there the most typical myths.
i like my vamps wid Fangs =D
