Good question, I could pick two. The Unblemished by Conrad Williams and The Indifference of Heaven by Gary A Braunbeck.
Jo ask us to pick one book that we would like for everyone to read & why?
Mine would have to be Dean Koontz's One Door Away From Heaven. Great writing in this book, shows the insane evil in soms peoples hearts & the selflessness in others.Great good vs evil, from start to finish nothing slow about it.I have read it twice & i LOVE LOVE LOVE it.
If I had to recommend one book, I think it would Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. I did not understand the hype surrounding Harry until I finally read this one book and then I couldn't get enough of this series! I think it has to be one of the best written series of books for our time. Look at how many people, young and old, have become avid readers b-cuz of these books!!
I have it {got it in hardback at a yard sale for 2 bucks} but haven't read it yet. I'm working on a fantasy trilogy right now but i will.

yeah, its gonna be great, and apprently just down the road from where i'll be living is a huge library =D
the size of the spiders in Australia are huge, an old room mate keeps trying to get me to move down their.
I guess you aren't into camping in the wild. That is a favourite pastime where I come from. Lots of wild life.
Well i'm from Canada and you never know what you are going to come across. But I digress. I want to thank you Jo for the invite to join this group. I just know I am going to get some marvelous reading ideas. I'm a self-confessed book addict and these groups have been feeding my habit. Once again a big thank you.
They must also have some interesting book shops down there, I assume. If you are like me, you must have 1,000's of books stored up. Are you taking any with you and what a hard decision which one's to take and which one's to leave behind.
well unfortunatly for now all im allowed to take is 1 suitcase, so i can't actually take n e books, (yes i have thousands lol) i have a trunk which i am filling with my fav books which will eventually be shipped out too me, although this is very expensive to do, but the place i am moving too, im told has markets and book shops so i shall be able to stock up again, also there is a huge library just round the corner from my the studio where i will be working =D
yeah lol, well with any luck i will be able to get a night job to go along side my day job in the studio that way i will have money for books =D
As long as there is an internet connection you can stay in touch. I definitely look forward hearing of some of your experiences. Who knows maybe a book will come out of this.
