"Fools, freaks and fairies; it's the Spooky Halloween challenge!"

I thought it would be fun to do a Halloween challenge this month!

Rules:
- You can read as many or as little books as you want
- You can reread books
- You can use books in other challenges such as the Read a Thon
- The books can be horror, thriller, supernatural, mystery, or Halloween themed. This means they should be about serial killers, murders, mummies, ghosts, demons, zombies, witches, monsters, vampires, etc.

Post here in this thread to let us know what books you've read and what you thought about them!

Well I figured out the issue
My thread didn't like the cute ghost emoji I had and would delete the whole post when it was there.

Oh well - no ghost emoji, but the Rules are there now!

Yeah, it was an easy listen - only took me 2 days.

I'm changing my line up: No Place Like Oz was just too stumbly and slow for me but it is a prequel to the Dorothy Must Die series so I may give the series a chance when I have a spot for it. And Monstrous Affections is a LOT longer than I thought so I am shelving that for a bit too.

I am replacing one with because I enjoyed it so much the first time and I'm on the hunt for another spooky set of stories..

1. done 10/7/15 This was the last book in the Lux series about aliens. series as a whole is pretty good, this book not my favorite.
2. done 10/7/15 cute story but I felt it was really long for a kids book.
3. 10/22/15 Grim reaper, son of the devil, and the departed!
4. done 10/14/15. Some people don't consider angels spooky but that is because they don't realize they are terrifying!
5. 10/21/15 This wasn't spooky but there was a ghost! I'm counting it.
6. 10/28/15 Fit this in just in time for Halloween

I'd say there are quite a few people afraid of aliens. Sure, they count!

This was a fun challenge!
