Endicott Mythic Fiction discussion

The October 2015 book is Lunatics by Bradley Denton.

It's been a long long long time since I've been active in the group! So sorry. :( I am reading this month, though! I've already got the book! Just got to finish The Witch's Daughter and then I'll read Lunatics!

Hi Anatha. No worries, the group hasn't been too active the last few months. Did you ever get around to reading Lunatics?

I enjoyed it. It was a quick, light read with characters who spoke with different voices (it's amazing how many novels have characters who all sound the same) and a plot that was fun. The end surprised me.

I think my only disappointment was that almost all the female characters seemed kind of unpleasant and cranky, at least until the end. The male characters were generally more sympathetic, if a bit hapless.

Noooo I never got to it. My library demanded that it be returned to them before I got a chance to pick it up. :c I will participate again soon though, damn it all!
