So how many times have you guys read your comfort books?
Do you try to squeeze them in yearly or in a book slump?

I understand what you mean. I don't get a lot of time for rereads, so I go to my tried and true authors when I need to hear their familiar voices.

Here are a few of my favorites that I have reread over and over.

The first 3 of the Mallory series from Johanna Lindsey.

I am not a huge paranormal fan, but I've heard so many things about Kresley Cole's series, I may have to try it!! Thanks for sharing!!

Karen, you reminded me that I read so many Johanna Lindsey books and loved them, too! My older sister shared her books with me, and my Mom was quite stunned to discover I was reading such racy novels, LOL. But I've ended up with a lifelong love of romance novels, particularly historicals as a result. The thing I love about Kresley Coles IAD series is the humor in them...some of the dialog is just laugh-out-loud funny and the characters are always well written and the heroes sexy as all get out!

I reread Julie Garwood, Lisa Kleypas, Kristen Ashley, Pamela Clare, Linda Howard, Elizabeth Hoyt, Jill Shalvis Karen Marie Moning, Julie James, Julia Quinn to name a few.

I've read The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie and thought it was a terrific book!

I re-read a lot of Sherrilyn Kenyon, Christine Feehan, Georgette Heyer and Johanna Lindsey.

Love this book too. Haven't had a chance to reread it though.

I'd forgotten Virginia Henley. Loved her books and it's been a while.

This is one of my favorites! Kresley Cole sold me on the entire series with that book <3

Lisa Kleypas. They just provide a plans I want to go back to, over and over.

I love to reread the GhostWalkers series. I just finished a reread and I'm restraining myself from starting over again. :)

I definitely could do a reread of the Hathaways. :)

In other words, you've read them more than once and look to them for a good comfort read.
