I like lots of books, but they usually involve strong emotions, but NOT angsty. Read fluff to the pits of despair.

I'm just getting the thread started! I'll send out an email in a few weeks or so! You guys can play around, but you guys might be by yourself for a little while!

*steals some of Vivian's candy corn*
I've been reading fantasy/paranormal stuff mostly, but I'm trying to make myself branch out a bit.

As for what I read...Well I'll read just about anything, so I'm pretty easy. Emotional books do tend to be my favorites, but any sub genre works for me.
*steal some of Vivian's candy* I am only reading M/M books and love to read dark and out of comfort zone kidnapped/slave/prisoner/non-con/multiply partners. I am reading fantasy/sci-fi/military/ agent/mpreg/ shapeshifters/ mpreg/ BDSM etc. I will make a link to my wishlist on GR on my profile in elfster.
Hello Everyone, nice to see you all from last year. I can't wait for it to be december and then to surprise the one I will be SS for ;-) *happy* <3
Thank you a lot Heather and for your hard work *Big Hugs* <3
I can't wait to surprise the person I will be secret Santa for, and hopefully I will know who will be my secret Santa this year on the day 24-26/12? *hopeful*

Can't wait for the holiday fun!

I look forward to holiday good times with you all!

*Waves at everyone*
My wishlist changes every year but I'm reading about 99% m/m in different genres. Not real big on angst-ridden or na/ya reads and I prefer to have lots of sexy times.

I like making lists so giving me the opportunity to create a new one is great, but I have been known to overdo it. How many is a good number of books, so that my KK has plenty of choice, but won't be overwhelmed?

I read only M/M and tend to lean towards the emotional, contemporary books.

I read M/F, M/M, M/M/F, M/F/M, threesomes, foursomes, moresomes. Contemporary and historical erotic romance are my usual go to's, but I'll read paranormal and scifi , too. The only thing I have to have is a little smut with my reads. The more sexy times the better. ;-)

I love BDSM reads, and those books that titter on the darker side of the spectrum. Give me angst, give me mystery, and crime, and sociological cliche challenges, and I will be a happy gal! I will enjoy the occasional rare and exquisite paranormal/Sci-Fi co-genre, but for the most part, I like contemporary reads. What I DON'T like is drama-queens, drama for the sake of drama, and pissy little bitches who don't know how to talk and act like adults.

But... but... it's only July isn't it?? Someone has stolen months from me, months I tell you ;)
Thanks for setting this up again Heather!

I'm super early!! But everyone else is so on the ball! I haven't even sent out a notification yet!!

I go in waves with my reading...I was reading a lot of erotica/BDSM/romance up until about a year ago....lately, I've tried 'expanding my horizons' and trying new genres and authors. Give me a good strong alpha male any day and I'll be happy, but I'll try some other stuff as well (especially if I can work it into one of the many Reading Challenges I also do!).
I've got tons of books I've purchased over the years still to read (feel free to check my shelves for already owned tbr) and if you have a recommendation that's not on my list but you think I'd enjoy it, send it my way! Im open to pretty much anything!
Yay! So excited to see this happening again this year. Last year was my first exchange and I had a blast! I'm so excited to start updating my list again!

Will have to work on my list, but for pressies I like to stick to the MM genre. I'm really picky on MF and other fiction, and it often falls flat for me. So it doesn't seem right to 'wish' for a book I'm not sure about...! ;)
Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I'll read pretty much anything with a HEA, but I like some smut with my romance! =P

I read only M/M and love romance, smut, lots of sex, angst, BDSM.... everything ;)

I mainly read M/M contemporary romance, but enjoy a good historical or paranormal also. I really do like an HEA and a little angst is not a bad thing; I don't mind using some tissues.
Welcome, early birds!! I'll send out a mass invite in about a week (ahem, maybe tomorrow...) but I'm so excited that everyone is pumped out my little exchange!

This was fun last year and I can't wait to participate again. I still for a very lease a HFN. My favorite genre is contemporary romance. I've been in a book funk this last couple months. My top author for me this year is Hollis Shiloh, K.A Merikan and Alexandra Hazard.
Dislikes
-Josh Lanyon and Harper Fox (Good author but not for me.)
- BDSM
- Mystery
- Historical

Thanks Heather!!!
I mainly read M/F but can do menage. Historical romance has always been my go to since I was a teen but over the past decade I've branched out and read contemporary especially if it's funny. I love contemporary mystery, paranormal (I just read The Blackdagger Brotherhood this past summer).
Dislikes:
Alpha-jerks
Where the H rapes the h then she falls in love with him
Poorly researched BDSM (i.e. FSOG)

Thanks Heather!!!

I'm with you Midniteillusion. It drives me nuts when:
Where the H rapes the h then she falls in love with him.

I read mainly contemporary and paranormal romance (both MM and MF), but I also branch out to historical (MM only though), urban fantasy, as well as good ol' murder mystery/thriller/serial killer stuffs.
I am not in favorable of dark or angst read, as well as anything involving bdsm, threesome, incest, mpreg (*shudders*), high fantasy, or sci-fi. I "can" read them but they are very low on my priority list.
Have a great October because holiday season is just around the corner!!

I only read M/M. I love GFY and BDSM as well as Regency romances. I love series, the more books the better. I don't like books written in first person.
Thanks for organizing this, Heather!

So glad we are all back here :)
Heather, thank you so much for organizing the exchange again! You're the bestest :) ♥

Thanks again Heather for doing this! I'm so excited. Wow! it's been so long but I'm so glad we're doing this again this year. What a great way to get back in the loop.
So, for those of you who know me (HI FRIENDS!!! I MISSED YOU) you know I am strictly partial to the M/M Genre. What can I say I LOVE MY BOYS! I've got to have romance, and I take that in many forms:
I like fluff, GFY, BDSM, a little angst is necessary but to much and I start rolling my eyes and shaking my head
Paranormal is new to me and I love shifters...wolves especially.
Gotta have little Erotica in there too.

I really need to read Something Like Summer. I enjoy Jay Bell, but have yet to read this book.
