The best Unreliable Narrator (and thriller) that I've ever read was Now You See Me by S.J. Bolton (now Sharon Bolton). Amazing book.
I am currently reading
Dog on It. I am about half way through. It is a mystery taken from Chet the dogs POV. Although, the mystery is good I get bored with Chet continually talking going out and having to bark at one of his friends or whatever else a dog has to do.

What do you think? Can you think of examples of this? I remember a traumatic experience reading that classic unreliable narrator in The Murder of Roger Ackroyd. I couldn't read a book in the first person for years afterwards! Also, when you go to unlikable characters, may I suggest The Lying Tongue by Andrew Wilson?
