I've been wanting to read this book for some years. I actually own the audio and hardback. LOL. I started once...but didn't get far. I'll join in.
Lulu wrote: "I've been wanting to read this book for some years. I actually own the audio and hardback. LOL. I started once...but didn't get far. I'll join in."AWESOME. ME (Kerry) MAYA AND LULU - excellent!
I have it on my night stand ready to go.
I had read a few chapters when i lived in the usa but left it behind :/ i was enjoying it aswell! have seen the film (not bad) but have a feeling the book will be better.
Maya wrote: "I got my copy today so I will start this weekend"excellent :) let's start reading away :)
i saw it last year myself, think the book will be 100 times better, it already writes like liquid gold
this book started out good. I got half way through and I am ready for it to end. How is the reading going for everyone?
I'm really enjoying it so far, the prose is well done, i think you're a little ahead of me, i hate when that happens, you love it then want it to end, i have been feeling that way with 'the book thief'
I am ready to discuss the first half whenever you are ready. I am going to just push my way through the second half.
Feeling the same way Maya. I'm pushing my way through. It's been like this with a couple of reads for me lately. I'm almost done with 1st half.
Ehh. I don't know about this book. I mean. I read it and I just walked away from it. It didn't stir any emotion from me. I can't really remember the movie.
I did the same Lulu. I scanned the last few chapters and closed the book. Glad I'm not the only one that felt this way
