The red July birthstone, The Ruby, was long accorded a lofty position in the order of gems by the ancient Hindus. It was christened the ‘King Of Gems’, a tribute to its blood red intensity, believed to protect the wearer from evil, signify love and intense passion. Besides the ancient Hindus, tribes in other parts of the world were fascinated by this stone, and its deep red color was synonymous with War and victory. Other attributes of the Ruby are harmony, contentment, integrity, strength, protection from Evil and success. In the days of Yore, rubies adorned Kings, head of warrior tribes and political rulers as it was believed to enhance their leadership skills and power of decision-making. The belief has evolved through the ages, and today the stone is believed to aid wearers in making important decisions in life, particularly financial decisions. In the Hindu culture, the July birthstone, Ruby, was associated with Power, Passion and Protection. The ruby was also believed to have curative properties and used to improve blood circulation. The belief entails however, the one must not wear a ruby anywhere close to the Solar Plexus as the stone has adverse effects on the area. The blood-red stone is said to symbolize strength, vitality, confidence, leadership, and courage. The red ruby is associated with passion and love.

These two July birth flowers differ greatly in appearance. The water lily makes its home on the surface of water and has a large lily pad with a single flower in the center. These majestic plants are often referred to as “Queen of the Water” and the flowers almost look like a crown and is also called a Lotus flower. The delphinium, on the other hand, might look like a single flower but is made up of numerous tiny flowers shaped like a poker. Other names for the Delphinium / Larkspur include Knight’s Spur, Lark’s Heel or Lark’s Claw. Although the Delphinium and Larkspur look very similar, there are subtle differences between the two. You only have to look at the delicate flowers to see this. The Delphinium has trumpet-like flowers while the Larkspurs flower is more open without the trumpet-like tube of the Delphinium. As the national flower of Bangladesh, the water lily has long been a symbol of life and love. Throughout Eastern culture the water lily has been a symbol used to convey emotions, ideas and experiences ranging from beauty to enlightenment. Not only is it a symbol of life and love but is also seen as a symbol of unity. For Buddhists and Hindus, the water lily is an important religious symbol. When a water lily is used in a bridal bouquet it represents purity of heart. According to history the Larkspur was originally used as a deterrent for scorpions. The Larkspur is known as a symbol of an open heart and devoted attachment. Since the shape of these flowers resembles parts of the Lark (bird), it is no wonder that these beautiful flowers also symbolize swiftness and lightness after the Lark in flight.

Ever since she was a child, Alaya was always on the rebellious side. She would often get in trouble for playing around with her fathers lightsaber, and often challenging the other younglings. She had a hunger to be like the other boys, not wanting to be looked down upon for any reason. She was always up for a fight. But it's always been in her heart to grow up and be like her father. Like her grandfather, she has a sense with mechanics able to fix things quickly and easily, even in the toughest situations. In many ways she is like her grandfather, Anakin Skywalker. Good with mechanics, rebellious and always getting herself into trouble, Alaya seemed to not fit within the Jedi at first glance. But after getting to see her heart, you could see how caring and kind she was beneath her rebel soul, caring for the lowest of creatures. Alaya tries to balance herself out between a rebel, and a caring Jedi Knight. But that never stops the fight within her, always standing for what is right and having the correct mind in things. Alaya, despite her reckless self, is the form of a true Jedi.

Alaya Padme Skywalker was born to two very proud parents on July 1st on the planet Yavin 4, inside the Jedi Praxeum where her father, Luke Skywalker, trained young Jedi. At the beginning of her birth, chaos swarmed around her. The Yuuzhan Vong War had begun, and her parents were on the front lines of the war. Jedi Masters trained her to become a powerful Jedi, much like her father. Although, being the daughter of Luke Skywalker wasn't as kicked out and amazing as you would think. Being the daughter of a former rebel leader, caused her trouble. When Alaya was six-years of age, she was kidnapped by a squad of Yuuzhan Vong, and held hostage as a trap to get Luke Skywalker. Luke heard of this news, and decided to "spring the trap". But when he arrived to retrieve his daughter, she was waiting at the helm of the ship, gun in hand, pointed at the leader of the small bands head. She greeted him with a "Hullo Daddy!" and the two returned to Yavin 4 in peace. Luke had been shocked at his daughter, having wonders about how she could've gotten through the brutal race. He knew then something truly powerful resided in her. Alaya grew strong in the Jedi Praxeum, having many adventures with her cousins and friends inside those walls. She even helped thwart the Second Imperium, where she and her cousin Jaina Solo helped Zekk abandon the Dark Side of the Force and join the ranks of the Jedi. After Alaya's long years of training, at age sixteen, she finally became a Jedi Knight and stood tall amongst the Jedi. Alaya had never spent much time with her aunt and uncle, Leia Organa-Solo and Han Solo, so she decided to spend a month with them on Coruscant. While in Coruscant, her uncle taught her how to fly the Millennium Falcon, while her aunt sat carelessly in the back, trying not to fall over as the two recklessly drove. While Alaya was near her leaving to return to her duties, she grew horribly ill. Something had struck her, and the doctors couldn't place what was wrong with the young Jedi. Her mother and father came quickly, but when they arrived, Alaya had disappeared. No one knew where she had gone. No one could find her. And the Millennium Falcon, was missing. Search parties scattered across the galaxy for the lost girl. Luke Skywalker travelled to Dagobah, where he found an unconscious Alaya. After three long weeks, the Jedi awoke, and explained her story to the ones whom had gathered to her. She told them of how she had felt the Force telling her to go to Dagobah, where it then consumed her. Alaya explained how nothing had felt like that. She felt torn in two, unable to process anything, as the Dark and the Light filled her entirety. The Force had spoken to her, before escaping her body, and into space it continued once more. Alaya now travels on Jedi missions, experiencing everything a regular Jedi would. Except for the nagging feeling she received when she used the Force to her will. She felt that there was something more, something that was coming. Things were catching her off guard as well. Maybe even a certain Padawn. But Alaya couldn't quite place anything as her world was seeming to change around her.

Deeply empathetic, Adele often exhibits a gentle, patient nature, but one that is in want of inspiration. She can be deeply affected by and completely absorbed into her environment. She is a generous, amiable, positive natured girl with a deep sense of kindness and compassion. Adele is highly tuned into everything around her including the feelings of others. She has an uncanny sense of perceiving what a person wants or needs, and delivering it. She is reflexive, preferring to allow circumstances and events to unfold and, only then responding. She is too idealistic and impractical for every day run of the mill living. Adele is sensitive and instinctual rather than bookish or mechanical. She is completely and wholly engaged in a chosen path, to the exclusion of everything else — not like she has much of a choice, being an oracle and all.

adele kross was born on a drizzly day in the strange town of olympia in california. she was born to a very loving and happy couple, who were few of the only normal residents in that town. hand picked by the fates, this young strawberry blonde was destined to become an oracle like delphi from the ancient times. as she grew into a small girl, her powers began to develop. by touching any item, adele was able to see its past, as well as others when she touched them. she could also see bits and pieces of their future. she told her parents this, hoping they'd understand. of course they didn't, and sent her to several doctors at the age of five, but none of them could find anything wrong with the child. soon, a woman with dark hair appeared at her door in the night, claiming she was the goddess hera, queen of the gods. the goddess offered her a choice — stay with her family, or leave so she may be trained to control her powers. it was a hard decision, but she had seen a future of herself one day controlling her powers, just after having touched her wrist. and so adele left her family behind, and continued on to live with the olympians. her family left olympia after a year of searching, and moved adele knows not where. she was trained to control her abilities of sight by the god apollo, along with two other oracles, and now is able to go where she pleases, old enough in the queens eyes, who had grown to be like a mother to her. while she trained on olympus, she still attended school down in olympia, her missing file reports having been wiped from the memories of the towns residents, and any memory of her past family as well. adele works at an antique shop in olympia, and as the war begins to brew, she hides deeper and deeper into her home, and away from the quarrels of the gods, afraid to be captured and used as a personal tool — for anyone.

cressida can come up with brilliant and novel ideas using her imaginative powers. however, in the process she can end up with ideas that may not be too practical, or may be too over-ambitious. the power to think and act spontaneously is a major guiding force for cressida, and more than reasoning, she relies on her intuition for taking decisions. sensitive as she is, cressida is faithful and generous towards others, and she hardly expects anything in return for her generosity and faithfulness. she deeply admires and respects people who are near to her. even those who are far away get to experience the loving side of cressida very often. she can be quite emotional, but at times she might appear icy and separated. cressida sympathizes with other people and loves to take care of them. she is greatly protective of her personal area, interests, belongings, relationships and loved ones. and in her many lives, cressida's protection has gotten her injured or sometimes for the worse — killed.

long ago in ancient greece, there lived a youthful girl named cressida, who was very different from all the rest, and resided in the great city of athens. many young women got married from age twelve to eighteen in that time, but the days trailed behind, and cressida denied every man who sought out her hand. none interested her, as they all seemed to be the same dull and boring specimen the gods seemed to obviously have not blessed. cressida often found herself at the temple of apollo, the god of the sun and music. she had a great passion for this art, and prayed to the god to teach her to sing as beautifully as any of the goddesses above. the god watched her from above, as she came everyday to the hill where his temple lay. for a year he watched, and everyday she came, never giving up faith that one day the god would come. as she was leaving on a lovely spring morning, hair adorned with flowers, from behind came the powerful god. she fell to her knees and thanked him, and soon the two began their lessons. cressida was taught everything, and apollo, though harsh on her when she got something wrong, knew that she had a voice and talent greater than any immortal woman he knew. the god of the sun began to fall in love with this mortal, truly and deeply. he wished to stop, but just couldn't as he spiraled from attraction to pure heart. cressida couldn't deny her feelings either, and felt slightly ashamed for being attracted to one of the gods that ruled over them, but it thrilled her none the less. she would follow him anywhere. and as when they told each other of their feelings, it wasn't long til the god of the underworld came and murdered cressida in cold blood, as revenge towards apollo for sleeping with his wife many years prior. apollo begged for him to bring her back, to forgive him for his wrong, but hades had another idea in mind. the god of the dead agreed to let her come back to life, but on one condition — she was only allowed to return every half century, and would die a year after they would once again meet, with no recollection of her past lives. apollo sealed the deal, and now this is how cressida lives her many lives — she falls once more for the god of the rising sun, and then dies in the most harsh ways imaginable. this is a pain both must bare for eternity.

Not the one to shy away from taking risks, Braeden at times pushes her luck just for that adrenalin rush. No matter how difficult the situation may be, she will take the challenge head on. Since she always looks for excitement and adventure, Braeden is often the one who’d try out newer things in life. You will never find her low on energy levels. So, when she's around, you will definitely feel the whole environment in the room lightening up — sexually and aggressively. A belief that what she knows and perceives is right makes her insensitive of others’ emotions and arrogant. The fiery bounty hunter has fixed opinions and she will not budge for anything in the world. Her stubbornness makes her a very difficult person to deal with. In fact she is both impulsive and impatient, and hence many a times Braeden will not consider minute aspect of the matters and think through the situations to arrive at a decision. Braeden will not think twice before being confrontational and asking questions that may potentially harm a relationship. Learning a lesson or two on human relations may be helpful to her, but then again, when have any of her relationships been stable — or living?

cruel were the ways of life to braeden adair. born into a family of seven, she was right in the middle, and was often taking care of her younger siblings, or helping out her older ones. her parents were loving and kind people, who ran a small yet very active restaurant in mos espa, tatooine. business had always been good, and they even had opened up another shop — this time for selling droid parts and several other items — and their lives were good and free of the empire's grip. one day, the family flew out to the outskirts to watch the fireworks after one of their most celebrated holidays. but it would all end very soon, when tuscan raiders began slaughtering and capturing the people who had come out onto their lands. her family was one of many to be captured. braeden was terrified, and with horror watched as her family was my feted before her at the camp as they all attempted escape. moths memory still haunts her, often giving her cold-blooded nightmares and occasionally panic attacks. braedan was held hostage for six months, trembling in the darkness of her own shadow. something awakened in her many moons after her families bloody slaughter. she, still being very small, gained the will to wiggle out of her bonds and escape, but not before she grabbed a gun. this was the first time she held that sort of weapon, and quickly fled away, the scars visible around her. a year passed and braeden had developed the keen sense of becoming a smuggler. she was very good at it, blending in with the crowd, a small figure to be dismissed. she was nine. the last time she ever attempted to steal something, was from a bounty hunter, but how was she to know? the hunter whipped around to see a wide eyed, braeden, who was quite afraid. the hunter gave heart, for he had also been an orphan, and bent to her level, explaining to her that smuggling wouldn't get her very far. sassily, she questioned him on how she would get somewhere. the man took her under her wing, and she was trained to be a bounty hunter just as he. braeden grew and grew, and by age fourteen, her mentor believe her to be ready to take on her first assignment. and so she did, succeeding with a life of ease. at age nineteen, braeden happened to have a bit of a run in with some clones. she fought relentlessly, but there were too many this time. the emperor himself had her brought to him, promising her money worth her while but on one condition — she kill three different targets. leia organa, princess of alderaan, luke skywalker, a seemingly ordinary boy from her home planet of tatooine, and lyanna mae, a recluse on the planet dagobah. all were threats to the empire and its ruler. with acceptance of this task, braeden left the emperors presence with one last, daunting warning : if she should fail in her task, or betray the empire, she would no longer be the hunter but the hunted, tracked down until she was dead at the emperors feet.

ember was born to two loving parents, an older brother hyper young to remember his sisters birth, but the family loved her all the same. she grew up in beacon hills, california, and around the time she was two or three, scott and his little sister came to meet an awkward boy named stiles, who also happened to be very clever, mischievous and the sheriffs son. the three were inseparable, always together, causing mischief and just being children. but that would all soon fade as scott and embers father pushed scott down the stairs after coming home drunk. their mother swept down the stairs, screaming for the drunk to get out and holding her baby boy to her chest. the fbi agent left, taking his daughter along with him. in anger and intoxication, rafael wasn't keeping his eyes on the road when his car slammed into another, that held two alpha werewolves. knocked unconscious, embers father was unaware as his daughter was kidnapped, to be used as a pawn for these two powerful supernatural beings. the agent was helped from the car moments before it caught a flame and exploded. it was thought that his daughter had been trapped somewhere inside and had died as soon as it was demolished. in reality, the young girl was being taken hostage by deucalion and another one of the alphas in his pack, soon bitten in hopes to be turned and one day become a powerful alpha. it was better to train them young, as many failed or disagreed with the alpha packs ways. as soon as the bite was given, she began to cough up a dark ebony substance and was left to die in the forest. to this day it is still unknown how she lived, but after passing into death, she transformed into a wolf and has since then remained that way. up until six months ago, that is. ember was found, her eyes a silvery blue when they glowed, by deucalion in his pack as they searched for scott mccall, a powerful beta deucalion felt would turn one day into a true alpha. upon stumbling upon her, he knew she would be an excellent pawn, and once again swept her up as his prisoner. the werewolf taught her all she needed to know on how to shift back and forth, and also the knowledge she would need for her junior year at high school. his plan was to send her to the high school in her home town, have her gain her brothers trust and friendship, before leading him to deucalion's side. now embers starting anew at beacon hills high school, and her only prayer is this — for scott to never notice her and to get the hell out of here.

as you know, most children aren't born from eggs. but then again, when have the tales of the greeks ever been normal? leda, the queen of sparta was admired by the king of the gods, zeus, and he seduced her in the guise of a swan. in this form, he fell into her arms in protection from a pursuing eagle. their consummation, on the same night as leda lay with her husband, tyndareus, resulted in two eggs from which hatched helen, clytemnestra, and castor and pollux.
helen was the daughter of zeus and leda, stepdaughter to tyndareus. years passed after the birth of her and her siblings, and the young girl blossomed into a beautiful girl. two athenians, theseus and pirithous, thought that since they were both sons of gods, both of them should have divine wives; they thus pledged to help each other abduct two daughters of zeus. theseus chose helen, and pirithous vowed to marry persephone, the wife of hades. theseus took helen and left her with his mother aethra. theseus and pirithous then traveled to the underworld, the domain of hades, to kidnap persephone. hades pretended to offer them hospitality and set a feast, but, as soon as the pair sat down, snakes coiled around their feet and held them there. helen's abduction caused an invasion of athens by castor and pollux, who captured aethra in revenge, and returned their sister to sparta.
when it came time for helen to marry, many kings and princes from around the world came to seek her hand, bringing rich gifts with them, or sent emissaries to do so on their behalf. menelaus, her future husband, did not attend but sent his brother agamemnon, to represent him. odysseus was one of the suitors, but had brought no gifts because he believed he had little chance to win the contest. he thus promised to solve the problem, if tyndareus in turn would support him in his courting of penelope, the daughter of icarius. tyndareus readily agreed, and odysseus proposed that, before the decision was made, all the suitors should swear a most solemn oath to defend the chosen husband against whoever should quarrel with him. after the suitors had sworn not to retaliate, menelaus was chosen to be helen's husband, but the young woman did not reprocreate his affections, and thus did not love the man she was wed to.
ten years passed, and paris, a trojan prince, came to sparta to claim helen, in the guise of a supposed diplomatic mission. her husband was away, and the two fell madly in love for one another. paris finally convinced her to run away with him, only weeks before meneleaus' return. in just three days they reached troy, but on a brief stop-over to the island of kranai, the two lovers consummated their passion.
when he discovered that his wife his missing, meneleaus called upon all the other suitors to fulfill their oaths, thus beginning the trojan war. and when paris was killed in action, helen wept and cried at his grave, mourning her lost love, the true love and light in her life. during the fall of troy, when the trojan horse was admitted to the city, helen circled the horse three times. she imitated the voices of the greek women left behind at home — she thus tortured them with the memory of their loved ones, and nearly brought them to the brink of destruction. while troy was in flame, helen fled and attempted to escape the greeks, but was captured and brought to the feet of her husband, where he proceeded to strike her down with his sword, for he was the only one to slay his unfaithful wife. helen departed to the underworld, and met paris at the place of judgement. for her crimes, helen was sent to the fields of punishment, while paris was sent to the elysium.
paris one day in the afterlife, driven mad with grief having not seen his loved one for almost two thousand, threw himself into the river of lethe, in hopes that she might one day join him, and was reborn into the world of the living. the news did not travel quickly enough to helen, but as soon as it did, she followed her lover, and was reborn several years after he. the two know nothing of their past lives, but now are in search of the face they see in their dreams.

It all started with a pin. Girl A was just a normal girl, like most females in your stories and tales. She was just trying to help her dad – he was going to loose his job at NASA. She was just trying to help. Long story short, Girl A was in jail and her father had to bail her out. Anyways, Girl A was just getting her things when she found it. It had a strange symbol on it. The symbol of the Jedi Order. Girl A picked it up, and was transported to another galaxy. Another world. At the time, she didn't know that if she would've dropped the pin, she would've gone back to her old life. On the back of the pin, time counted down. Her time to make a choice. Stay forever, or drop the pin and return to her old life. Of course no one had explained to her what was going to happen, so how was she to know that she had a choice? Girl A then watched as the time ticked down, and then disappeared. She tried setting the pin down, but when she did she didn't not return home as it had down before. She was stuck there. The Sith were often sent out beyond the galaxy to explore, and find the source of the Force. But none ever found it. One stumbled upon Earth, and, intrigued, left a pin with the living force inside of it, to be found by one who could change the course of everything the Jedi and Sith knew. It found Girl A. She is the change.

let's start at the beginning. and i mean, the VERY beginning. adolf hitler and eva braun had been 'friends' for years. but then the two found out they were to have a child. they didn't marry right away, but after their daughters birth, they got married before their slaughter. their daughter, victoria hitler, grew up around former nazi's, raised to believe the things her mother and father attempted to achieve. she went under the name victoria braun, and at age seventeen was to have her own child with a former nazi she'd grown up with. eliza braun was born, and seven years prior, ewan newton was brought into the world. eliza trained in the art of assassination, ewan training to become a scholar in biology and numerous other sciences. the two met, one fateful day, at a meeting between two groups of neo-nazi's. the two were assigned to work together, creating new sorts of weapons to destroy their enemies. the two fell in love, and married, having their first son a year later, and their daughter in seven years time. rowan mae newton was born in new york, new york to two... well, not so normal parents. she was trained as an assassin, but also learned her fathers practice and trade as well. she excelled more brightly in the area of science, while her brother was a trained, highly capable assassin. and then it started. their parents began working to build a nuclear bomb. rowan had grown up in a family of terrorists, but had never believed what they did was right. she felt cheated by life to be placed in such a family, when all she wanted to do was make the world better. rowan contacted MI6 and U.N.C.L.E. to go in and take her parents out, and destroy any plans for a nuclear war. her parents deemed her a traitor, screaming it at her as they were shot and taken out. her brother escaped before they could find any trace of him. U.N.C.L.E and MI6 offered her jobs as a scientist in their organizations, but she ended up choosing U.N.C.L.E. in the end. now she works there, helping out with almost all of their special cases, and is one of the highest ranks in her department. the memories still haunt her, and she often has horrible nightmares and night terrors about the event that scarred her for life. but rowan knew she never truly had a family. not ever. and now she hopes to find refuge and love within her friends, but it will never change what happened.

sera blake mccall was born only seven-minutes after her older brother and twin, scott. he's always teased her about it, and hence has always treated her like she was younger than she actually was. but the two shared a womb together, and never separated, their friendship too great. sera was named after a nurse her mom had worked with, who had recently passed away from unknown causes before the birth of the twins. unknown to them at the time, and before their knowledge of the supernatural world, the two twins had no idea how important their lives would become. one full of light, and the other, of darkness. sera blake literally translates into "will be darkness". but her name would not come into play for many, many years.. scott and sera were two rambunctious children, very playful, loving and, of course, mischievous. sera always stole the chocolate chip cookies, and scott was always hogging the blanket. the two were quite the pair. one day when they were at the park, the two bolted for the sandbox, only to be greeted with the toothy grin of another four-year-old. his name was stiles stilinski, and the three instantly clicked and became the best of friends, practically all siblings, hips connected at the bone, and never ceasing to cause trouble. the three always managed to find ways to hack into the sheriffs telephone system, going out occasionally to look around at crime scenes that interested them. let's just say they loved a good mystery. until they got involved in them. the three had all recently turned sixteen that year. the night before their sophomore year, sera's twin was bitten by a werewolf, and their lives were changed forever. there was no turning back now. years passed and suddenly, three friends grew, and became a pack. lydia, allison, isaac, kira, malia and liam, and a few others all became their friends, and knew of the supernatural world. many of their enemies have called them 'scott's pack' and they as well began calling themselves that. they face the alpha pack, a dark druid, a nogitsune, professional assassins and even kate argent and her berserkers. they thought they could face anything. oh how they were wrong... the dread doctors nearly destroyed them. after they began a county-wide experiment, all were evacuated before deadly radioactive toxins reached the people of beacon hills. many people fled to other parts of the country, most likely to other family members. beacon hills had become a waste land, and for once, the pack had been conquered. lydia martins mother, having had a twin sister herself, suggested they move to mystic falls, a small town in southern virginia where her sister had lived until her death – carol lockwood. the rest of the town moved in, and the mayor pronounced a renaming of the town so as to welcome and unite the two towns. beacon falls had a great celebration of welcoming and warmth, but scott's pack become uneasy and on edge of this new town. it screamed supernatural, and that night they met the salvatore brothers and their friends. both still have not yet figured out that both are of supernatural origin, but fate has plans of its own, and it won't be long til everyone finds that beacon falls is just as endangered as beacon hills...
