I just finished this and OMG! I'm dying over here. THAT ENDING! I have fallen in love with this series again. All the feels come rushing right back and ultimately it feels almost like a completely separate series, just with the same characters. (Think Percy Jackson and The Heroes of Olympus) There's new characters, new enemies new story line but the stage is already set and everyone already knows what's up. SO GOOD.
THE SHADOW HUNTERS SHOW IS COMING OUT!!!! ITS BASED ON MORTAL INSTRUMENTS SERIES but the movie aint worth shit....btw the infernal devices is my fav out of all cassie's books.

I need to read more of the books before the show airs! I have some of the Infernal Devices books but I haven't read them yet either. *slacking*
I hope they don't butcher the show.

Lots of people who've read The Mortal Instruments series love it and are probably wondering 'how could that sit on your shelf for a year without you reading it?!'
Because I'm a hipster... that's why. When I started reading this series it was supposed to be a trilogy. Strictly a trilogy. When it ended I anticipated the release of the first Infernal Devices and then fell off with reading, never reading any of those books either. I got really busy at school and then started working all the time. When I found out she released another I had already catalogued the story away in my head and moved on. The series was done and additional books don't generally turn out as good as the originals so I didn't want to read it. I wanted to keep it ended on a good note. Then this came up, I was going to read another Vampire Diaries book, then outlander and eventually decided to read both this book and Outlander.
Is anyone else anticipating the show?
