November Challenge - Books about Books

#407 books about books - 3★’s
Quote: Blair Rhyme has gone into a small second hand book store called Den of leaves and describes what she sees...The books on the shelves were piled on top of each of other, creating mini towers reminding her of the game, Jenga, and Blair wondered if a tower would collapse if she removed a book. Dusty reading material filled every cranny of the room...

#967 Stories for Booklovers - 3★’s
Quote: “The first purpose of a librarian is to preserve and defend our books. Sometimes, that means dying for them - or making someone else die for them. Tota est scientia.”

#121 Best books - about loving books - 2★’s
Quote: One of the rules of the floating canal boat bookshop "...Please don't fart. This bookshop is very small and quite poorly ventilated. I've thrown perpetrators out before now..."

Out of five books I wanted the library had three, one was reasonably priced in Kindle and another was only available at great expense as a real book. So I changed that one for something I had on my shelf. That makes me feel happy:)

So this month we are immersing ourselves in all things BOOK!
Your task is to read between 3 and 5 books (more if you are inclined) Select your books from any of these Goodreads lists and LINK them in the challenge thread:
List 1. Books about Books
List 2. Best Books about Loving Books
List 3. Stories for Book Lovers
Tell us the title of the book you’re going to read, what list it is from, and the number on the list where the book appears; and then when you are finished also give us a bookie quote that caught your eye from each of your chosen books.
e.g.
Ten Years in the Tub: A Decade Soaking in Great Books by Nick Hornby - #521 on ‘Books about books’ list
Quote: “When I'm arguing with St. Peter at the Pearly Gates, I'm going to tell him to ignore the Books Read column, and focus on the Books Bought instead. "This is *really* who I am," I'll tell him.”
The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer - #3 on ‘Best books about loving books’ list
Quote: ‘That's what I love about reading: one tiny thing will interest you in a book, and that tiny thing will lead you to another book, and another bit there will lead you onto a third book. It's geometrically progressive - all with no end in sight, and for no other reason than sheer enjoyment’
Settle back, relax and enjoy!
