Goliverse discussion

This month's episode will be Tuesday the 27th. Time to be determined. I was able to carve out enough time this past month to actually read the book since there was no audio available. I wasn't sure I would make it, but huzzah I did. One benefit to the paper copy was discussion questions in the back. I shall now paraphrase them and call them my own.
1. Did the mention Morgenstern and his version of the book throughout the story throw you off or even interest you? Did you feel it added to the story?
2. How did you feel about Goldman relating stories of his wife, later ex-wife, and their son? Did these fictitious details throw you off during the story or add to the appeal of a translated masterpiece.
3. Did you sympathize with the spaniard, the turk, and the sicilian immediately or did they grow on you? Which was your favorite of the group?
4. How many read this book before watching the movie? Do you feel this changed how you enjoyed the book?
5. Better villain, Humperdink or Rugen? Why?
6. Was the love story of Westley and Buttercup believable? Why or why not?
7. Favorite one-liner?
